Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Unplayably hard. They didn't even remove the power-down mechanic from the NES version!
What a sh**load of fu**. The NES version had better controls. You should be ashamed of putting this forward. Don't bother with this crap.

I won't lie, a remake of Kage, I mean, Shadow of the Ninja is not on my bingo card, but here it is. One of the most underrated NES game got remade, and I couldn't be happier: The Good: - The artstyle was so good and fluid. - The level design and the boss fight are good. Bosses have more phases and more attacks, with definitely make the game feel fresh. - Kusarigama has been buffed to the stratosphere, and you can use it alongside sword, meaning it's extremely more useful now than the NES counterpart because there's only 1 button to attack. - The ninja gears have been expanded, and can be toggled back to sword (I know getting stuck with the gear in the NES version was due to the limitation, but I gotta point out.) - There's a pogo style atk in the game? - The game is arcade-y hard, but the reason it's hard is ... The Bad: - The control feels so heavy, and way more animation-based. Characters take like 0.3ms to react to whatever you're doing, meaning you better commit to your attack like in the OG Castlevania games. Making the boss fights much harder than it actually is, which makes no sense to me because ... They're ninja, and the control on the NES was fast, fluid, tight, and precise. What happened? - Convoluted ninja gears swap. Why do I need to hold the button, then scroll around just to choose the gear I need before I toggle it? Why don't I just quick-swap like in Mega Man series? - The final stage is harder than the boss itself. I haven't tried couch co-op, so I can't give any solid view here. But anyway, if you want a modern take of an underrated NES classic, give it a try. Whether you wanna buy it now, or wait for on sale is up to you.
Amazing game. The gameplay is smooth and refined, The art is extraordinary. The music is excellent. It's by the same team that made the original from Natsume. 2 Player co-op is actually harder but lots of fun once you start communicating strategies with your partner. A+
Really wanted to like this game, but the gameplay is just a little too janky for me.... and for a game like this, the gameplay needs to be tight.
Uhhh first thing's first, take a look at the manual in the options. It's a platformer, but it's not THAT typical of a platformer. It can save lives. Game's hard. But it ain't THAT hard. And it's pretty fair. But there are some snaggles. The game's crux of the difficulty is playing around with range. You can use your sword (and its upgrades) which do decent to good damage up close. Or you can use your much SAFER whip which you do straight up castlevania 4 stuff with it especially towards more stationary enemies (albiet no where NEAR as OP). In a way (and bare with me with the comparison) its pretty much Ninja Castle-Gaiden-vania. Specially the classic versions of those two. This is one of those games where it can feel overwhelming when you get surrounded by enemies and such but then you have to remember "wait... I can just do this!" That's basically MY first time experience in a nutshell. The kusarigami (basically the whip) is more useful than you realize. Enemies raining bullets on you can be stressful until you realize "wait, by sword deletes enemy bullets!" Even those stationary enemies from level one that shoot purple balls, You CAN slash those balls away. Hanging on ledges seems clunky until you realize "wait, I just gotta touch a ledge to climb on." It took me a while to get used to that one cuz in other games, you gotta hold UP to latch on. It's a muscle memory thing. If anything, the way THIS game did it is way more convenient. That combined with wall running can equal fun times. A flaw with platforming I can see is you gotta mash a lot when it comes to your wall running and hovering. And yeah, I suppose the input to hover is weird because there's no action when you press the jump button twice. I like the way items are done. You get a billion items along the way (plus some secret ones) They aren't THAT diverse (at least the common ones you get) but they're more than effective. Also no Pause menu to use items. Gotta keep you on your toes! It really wasn't that big of a deal since you have some downtime in stages plus bosses have simple patterns to dodge and have their cooldown periods for you to breath. I don't know too many 2D platformers that operate like that but I didn't mind how this one executed it. Also big swords deletes those snake robots on stage 2. Just a tip. Also, I don't think anyone has EVER mentioned it (barely any detailed guides as is) but so far the main difference between our ninjas is that Hayato (blue boy) has a MUCH farther hover than Kaede (pink girl). So far, I haven't noticed any difference like health or damage because enemies go down pretty easily with the sword upgrades. Or difference in range. One little odd quirk I noticed is that there's this weird save bug. You can ONLY save when you press 'EXIT' on the game over screen. Right now, my save is on Stage 4-3 when I've long beaten the game (messing with Time Attack.) Maybe its not THAT big of a deal given how short this game is, but this for sure FEELS unintentional. And it'd be nice to have a Time Attack for the whole game (again, it's short) and a Boss Rush time attack or something. The entire game is pretty much ASKING to be speedran. But yeah. Great game. Cool visuals. Levels are tough but are paced really REALLY well! Controls might be a little unorthodox but you can get used to them quickly. Not clunky. Just different. Kaede is a better goon character than EVE Stella Blade (this game is actually GOOD.) It's a better Shinobi game than Art of Vengeance. PEACE!
A remake I did not know I needed, it's beautiful in every aspect possible, from the sprites to the OST. Extremely challenging, as it's retro in every way, but with welcomed additions, encouraging you to replay it again and again until you can get to beat it without even dying once. This game healed my AAA fatigued soul
Absolutely stunning. just yes. the art: yes. the platforming: yess. the combat??? oh hell yes. this companies games truly feel like masterpiece continuations of the snes genesis era pixel classics and theyve really nailed it everytime. this might be my favorite one yet. has influences of ninja gaiden, castlevania and even megaman. awesome
