SGS Glory Recalled

Very good game, controls are simple and intuitive but dont take away from the strategy. Its quite unique in that it covers the battle of Hong Kong which i havent seen in a video game before. The card assisted gameplay allows the devs to share much of the history of the battle in a way many wargames dont. Battles occurring after movement instead of during makes it easier to keep track of whats happening, especially when it comes to taking losses etc. Highly recommended!

Good wargame giving you the feel of the desperation of the Commonwealth defenders. You will need to read the manual (it's sufficient) and become familiar with moving, air attacks, land attacks, supply and so forth. There are a few things you probably won't be able to figure out how to do on the fly without referencing the manual like air movement, breakthrough attacks and stacking limits. All in all great value for the price and a good wargaming experience with decent replayability.

C'est un jeu étonnant, visiblement monté au départ par un passionné de la période. Les Anglais n'ont pas une chance sur le terrain mais la victoire est atteinte potentiellement par d'autres possibilités. Prochain objectif, le tenter face à un autre joueur humain.

A very good game situated in WW2. I appreciate how historically detailed the game is. A game for WW2 lover and Hongkonger. Glory to Hong Kong!

Small but tricky scenario even as the Japanese. You must keep a coherent frontline or the British will breakthrough and destroy your backline. Great first game for SGS's system, as its small and manageable, while also covering a forgotten front with a ton of flavour.

This scenario allowed me to finally learn SGS games :D

Loved the scenario. Playing as the British was definitely a fun challenge.

Wargame rapide à jouer sur un thème original. Jouer l'anglais, dans une situation désespérée, me paraît plus amusant que de jouer le japonais.
