Sex On The Beach

Las animaciones son uno de los grandes puntos fuertes: hay un montón, se ven fluidas y rara vez fallan. Además, puedes pausar en el fotograma exacto que te gusta y recrearte ahí. Buscaba algo erótico visualmente potente, y este juego cumple de sobra.

Se nota mucho cariño por el género. Las escenas eróticas son explícitas y técnicas, el sonido acompaña muy bien y las chicas tienen fetiches y formas de excitarte muy marcadas. Pero por encima de todo, se agradece que la historia trate al jugador adulto con respeto, sin moralinas ni tonterías.

Como siempre, busco AVN de culitos. Aquí, me han encantado. Evidentemente me encanta Megumi, y creo que todo el que juegue se va a enamorar de ella. Pero en contra de lo que intuyo que será la opinión popular, el hecho de que aparezca tu ex en el juego, y te cuenten tu pasado con ella… es increíblemente excitante. Creo que en la historia pasa de todo, sin excepción. SPOILER (¡CUIDADO!): Con Rina yo he escogido varias opciones: puedes no verte más con ella después de la primera vez, o verte y no tener sexo, o verla y tener sexo, y luego tener la oportunidad de volver a ser novios o no y… si obtienes la oportunidad de ser novios, puedes serle infiel con Megumi y me parece que todo tiene un morbo turbio súper raro, pero de alguna manera es esa dulce venganza por el daño que te hizo en el pasado. Me gustaría saber qué otros jugadores escogieron las opciones que llevaron a ser infiel a Rina después de todo esto, y tener sexo con Megumi. Me encanta Megumi. Me casaría con ella.

I came for the furry theme after seeing it on X/Twitter (I think it was called FURROTOWN), but I’m a visual novel player in general. I enjoyed this one—more for the story than the erotic content (yes, I’m one of those rare exceptions who pay attention to the story and the music).

I have just one word for this game: wonderful. I wish I’d played it in summer because of the vibe, but I loved reminiscing about my little trips around Southern Europe this past July and August. I only wish I could travel to Japan and experience what happened to the character I played, haha.

I’ll be blunt: the standouts are Megumi and Naoko. It’s true that Rina has a huge allure, being your ex-girlfriend and all the baggage that comes with that. But even so, Megumi and Naoko—despite showing up less—are absolutely worth it. It’s genuinely exciting to see how Megumi, who comes off as the tough girl most of the time, still gives you a few little surprises in bed. And Naoko, a nudism idealist, is fun—and since I tend to save before every decision, I was amazed by how deeply you can dig into parts of her backstory you didn’t know. What I really liked is that they’re three-dimensional characters; it’s not just “click click click” with the mouse to reach the sex scenes (which I admit I did the first time, haha). You can actually get to know them and have different kinds of relationships with them. I’m giving it a 9.5 out of 10 because I don’t believe in perfection—but this is perfect in its imperfection.

대놓고 헨타이 게임이라고 소개하는 작품이라 처음엔 큰 기대를 안 했는데, 막상 해보니 그냥 에로 씬만 모아둔 카탈로그가 아니라 그 이상이었습니다. 애니메이션이 정말 미쳤고(전부 움직이고 수준도 매우 높아요), 각 여자 캐릭터들마다 뚜렷한 개성이 있어서 메구미, 나오코, 리나, 카나는 서로 복사본처럼 느껴지지 않고, 전부 다른 매력을 가진 인물로서 각기 다른 관계를 쌓아가게 됩니다. 가장 좋은 점은 선택지가 진짜로 중요하다는 거예요. 작은 선택 하나에도 루트, 대사, 심지어 이야기의 분위기까지 달라져서, 여러 선택지를 바꿔 보면서 여러 번 즐기고 싶어집니다(거의 H신을 보지 않고 플레이하면서 여자 캐릭터들을 더 알아가는 것도 가능해요). 웃기기도 하고, 또 야하게 흥분시키기도 하고, 두 번째 기회라는 주제 덕분에 살짝 쓸쓸한 여운도 남깁니다. 몇몇 애니메이션에서 사소한 흠이 보이긴 했지만, 전체적으로 지금까지 해본 성인 비주얼 노벨 중에서도 손에 꼽을 정도로 뛰어난 작품이었습니다.

노골적인 게임이라 그냥 에로 요소만 기대했는데, 에로티즘, 유머, 그리고 묘한 쓸쓸함 사이의 균형이 생각보다 훨씬 잘 잡혀 있어서 놀랐습니다. 이렇게 노출이 많은 게임에서 이 정도의 감정적인 무게감을 느끼게 될 줄은 전혀 몰랐어요.

거짓말 안 할게요. 저는 헨타이 씬 때문에 이 게임을 샀고, 그 부분은 정말 기대 이상으로 잘 뽑혀 있습니다. 거의 모든 일러스트가 애니메이션으로 구현되어 있고, 이 장르에서 흔히 보기 힘든 퀄리티예요. 그런데 진짜로 저를 붙잡은 건 여자 캐릭터들이랑 루트였습니다. ‘비어 있는 전형적인 캐릭터’가 아니라, 선택에 따라 전혀 다른 관계를 맺게 되는 개성 강한 인물들이에요. 유머도 있고, 꽤 노골적인 에로스도 있고, 불편할 정도로 현실적인 상황도 여러 번 나옵니다. 결국 더 많은 H씬을 보기 위해서만이 아니라, 루트가 어떻게 달라지고 각 여자 캐릭터들의 반응이 어떻게 변하는지 궁금해서 다시 플레이하고 싶어지게 되는 게임입니다.

아주 야하고, 그게 제일 먼저 말해야 할 부분이라고 생각해요. 애초에 이런 게임은 그걸 기대하고 하는 거니까요. 그래도 제가 정말 마음에 들었던 건, 거의 ‘금욕 플레이’에 가까운, 누구와도 자지 않는 루트로 진행해도 게임이 충분히 재밌다는 점입니다. 선택에 따라 대사가 바뀌고, 장면이 바뀌고, 그냥 섹스만 노리고 달렸다면 놓쳤을 여자 캐릭터들의 디테일을 새로 발견하게 돼요. 이런 식으로 선택지에 가치를 부여하는 방식은 정말 영리하다고 느꼈습니다.
