Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 342.29/day in the week to Jul 18 → 4.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

With the dual stick controls, each stick represents one of your feet. You will need to learn how to control them and transfer weight, just like on a real skateboard. The physics have been developed with a focus on realism, smoothness and immersion. Just like in real life for a new skateboarder, the first hours can seem challenging, but once you have mastered the technique, you will feel the unrivalled thrill of pulling off your very first kickflip! Session: Skate Sim also includes full options customisation, so you can enjoy the perfect experience tailored to you. A full tutorial provides all the help you need to get started, and you can choose from four difficulty levels!

Inspired by the golden age of street skating – the 1990s – Session: Skate Sim lets you experience true skateboarding and its culture: no scoring system; just you, your spot and your imagination! There's no need for judges to tell you that your noseslide or varial heelflip are perfect for this spot. And because certain locations are iconic, the developers have added several of them to the game for you to skate in and express your creativity, including Black Hubbas (New York City), Brooklyn banks (New York City), FDR Park (Philadelphia) and many other spots.

Skating and pulling off the best lines in the best spots is one thing, but if no one is there to film it, it didn't really happen… In Session: Skate Sim, you can film with a 1990s filter or fisheye lens, and you can use the video editor to create your clips and share them. You can play with multiple options, including changing the field of view, time of day, filters, and different camera views (tripod, orbit, etc.). Session: Skate Sim also offers the chance to go from skater to filmmaker: pull off your moves then go into film mode to experience the action from the point of view of your camera operator and create the best clip.

Show off your style with an extensive customisation system for your skater and skateboard. By completing challenges, you earn money to spend in skate shops. You can find nearly 200 items (hoodies, shoes, caps, T-shirts, trousers, etc.) from top brands, such as Fallen, Zero, GrindKing, Thankyou, HIJINX Net, Antilanta, Roger Skate CO, No-Comply, iDabble and others. You can also customise your skateboard with over 250 parts, such as wheels, trucks and many other components from famous brands like, No-Comply, GindKing, Thankyou and many others. In addition to the design aspect, the components (trucks, riser pads, wheels…) impact the way you skate. Find the right ones for your style and shred the most iconic spots!

This game is ruined now literally unplayable dont buy it based on the reviews thise must be from before the forced physics change making the game unplayable. They used to have an experimental options tab and one of those was experimental physics, I toggled it on one time and it was horrible… at some point they forced those physics and the game is literally hot garbage now, I can’t play it after buying the game during the early days playing it, putting hundreds of hours into the game, bought all the DLC for it… and now the game is ruined so badly I can’t even play it anymore… who decided that god awful physics update should be added to the game and force it like really, y’all ruined the best skating game, I wish I could still get a refund.
If you're disappointed with a certain other "skate" game and want a more realistic approach to skateboarding and it's culture, this game nails it. As a warning though, there is a steep learning curve. I wish I could say that it came naturally, but just like skating irl, you have to fail A LOT to succeed. I still probably spend more time bailing than landing, but that difficulty makes even the most simple of lines feel rewarding. Once you start to train your brain around the controls, you really begin to appreciate how much freedom of expression the game offers. The map design is phenomenal. It feels like everything was built with purpose and realism in mind. Seriously, whoever designs the maps does an incredible job and really makes you want to skate each spot. The only improvements I'd like to see are to the animations. Most are fine, but the overall off-board movement and lack of a board throwdown animation can really be jarring and distract from the polish of the rest of the game. Seriously a great game though. If you enjoy realistic street skating and are on the fence, I'd recommend giving it a try.

Same vibes as the original Skate game with a more immersive and rewarding trick system. Absolutely love the work the devs have put into this game, I just wish there were npc skaters to help the world feel more "lived in". I am forever hopeful for some sort of multiplayer, as I would love to skate some lines with the friend who suggested I check this game out. solid 8/10, needs multiplayer
i love it. this is what i was trying to get out of skate 4 but it's just not there. the controls are amazing and it feels so rewarding when you finally land a line after 200 tries and the video editor is probably my favourite part of the whole game. i absolutely love the keyframes and i love doing really simple realistic lines and trying to make them look cooler in the editor. i have a feeling i'm going to get a lot of hours out of this game.
Such a fun game, blows skate 3 away. Except...... Give us vert. Even if its minimal. We need it now.
Nacon suddenly put an unskippable prompt that prevents you from playing the game you have freely played for years, unless you accept their new terms. I dont even care what it says. Absolutely deplorable behaviour. There is even a second "Continue" option below that doesnt work. Time to downgrade the game version. EDIT: Owait you can't unless you jump through many hoops. It would be too easy if they provided historical versions like every other game. Silly me. Absolute EA-level dystopian corpo stuff. Time to put Nacon on my naughty list.
I'm a skate 3 guy so at first I was struggling with the controls but being a real life skater, it makes much more sense like this. Calling the line that you gonna do and actually doing it is much more challenging and satisfying in Session, just like the real life skate. Also it's much more precise, imagine you want to do a flip back smith in skate 3, you might end up with a flip back lip or some weird pressure flip to back tail instead of the initial flip bs smith. In session, you either get the trick or you fall miserably! This is the real deal, just please add more people and life in the city. Dynamic environment would be great here.
I love this game. To make it more realistic it would be great if we had a "injury HUD" for when you fall to show you what you would've actually broken or what injuries you would've sustained, factoring in height, speed, trick, environment, etc...
