Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
EA was bought out, what happened?
This new Skate had potential, but now it's over for sure. I can't recommend buying or installing any EA games anymore. Some things are more important than video games. EA is now 91% owned by Saudi Arabia and the corrupt, vile creature named Jared Kushner. You should know that if you are buying an EA game and installing it, you are running software that can be controlled by a hostile foreign government that commits messed up crimes, beyond what I'm probably allowed to talk about here. Here's an article about the EA sellout if you care to look. They took our video games with their oil money. I really don't like bringing politics into gaming, but enough is enough. EA is dead. It was a hostile takeover of an already bad company. They used to make good games. It's sad how bad this timeline is getting. I hope someday these circumstances can change. But it seems like everything just keeps getting worse these days. Not even our video games are safe. This is an attack on our culture. I'm tired of this ruined world. I would like to go touch grass, but with the current heatwave, there is none. It's so over. I just wanted to play some video games. But the corrupt boomers sellouts won't even let me enjoy things in peace.

Every season has made the game more fun to play, but at the tradeoff of a vastly worse user experience. I've tried to stay at least neutral, because the gameplay is genuinely fun. But I've gotten to the final straw when I finally fell victim to EA's scam as well. NOTHING you spend premium currency/real money on has a confirmation dialog. You hold the button long enough and it's yours, whether you actually wanted it or not. It's appalling that they still haven't changed this, even after months and months of users complaining about accidentally spending premium currency on items they didn't want. I intentionally bought the pass last season, and had to play dozens of hours over the course of the season, every single day just to finish it, and I barely made it. Because the developers made the inane decision to not only completely wipe battle pass currency every season, but they also greatly increased the total cost of items while also greatly decreasing the amount of battle pass currency available. I usually stay away from battle passes because they're a plague upon the industry, but I had saved enough premium currency from the free sections of the previous passes to buy it. Never before have I had to spend so much of my time to unlock stuff in any battle pass. It's mind boggling how they've made it worse and worse every season so far. Nevermind that this is an EARLY ACCESS GAME and it's now in its 5th "season", with literally hundreds of dollars worth of overpriced, paid cosmetics shoved in the user's face at every opportunity. I really do enjoy the gameplay, it's why my playtime is so high, but the business practices on display have always disgusted me and it just keeps on getting worse.
play skate 3 instead of this garbage
This game is so ass it's unreal. Just for anyone that forgot or didn't know, they were charging microtransactions in the alpha, and still haven't fixed things that were wrong with it since then. Talentless devs hiding behind their EA daddy
After almost a year since the release of Early Access and FIVE season & Battle Passes in, the game still hasn't had an expansion of the main map (The new maps are not linked to the main map), Every challenges proposed are the same since release. Seriously ? The only content we got IN A YEAR are Battle Pass, Temporary Event, Tutorial Map, New tricks (who should have been there a year ago), skins locked behind Micro-Transactions and Bug Fixes. The map is extremely boring, the character has nothing to do with the art direction, the menu is HORRIBLE, you can't Dark Catch and front/backflip & the dark catch input was better on skate 3, And on top of that, the maps that are added to the game are LOCKED behind the Battle Pass for a whole MONTH after release, and after that, you have to pay in-game money to be able to visit the map that you want for a LIMITED time. Do you remember when the devs said "No DLCs behind paywall" ? Ya man sure. Skate 3 clears and will always clear this soulless game that is Cash-Grabbing people.
gets absolutely mogged by skate 3
MAGA and Saudi owned garbage. Company was already ruining things, now they're done.
How is it still bad. Why am I still playing Skate 3
