About

With the dual stick controls, each stick represents one of your feet. You will need to learn how to control them and transfer weight, just like on a real skateboard. The physics have been developed with a focus on realism, smoothness and immersion. Just like in real life for a new skateboarder, the first hours can seem challenging, but once you have mastered the technique, you will feel the unrivalled thrill of pulling off your very first kickflip! Session: Skate Sim also includes full options customisation, so you can enjoy the perfect experience tailored to you. A full tutorial provides all the help you need to get started, and you can choose from four difficulty levels!

Inspired by the golden age of street skating – the 1990s – Session: Skate Sim lets you experience true skateboarding and its culture: no scoring system; just you, your spot and your imagination! There's no need for judges to tell you that your noseslide or varial heelflip are perfect for this spot. And because certain locations are iconic, the developers have added several of them to the game for you to skate in and express your creativity, including Black Hubbas (New York City), Brooklyn banks (New York City), FDR Park (Philadelphia) and many other spots.

Skating and pulling off the best lines in the best spots is one thing, but if no one is there to film it, it didn't really happen… In Session: Skate Sim, you can film with a 1990s filter or fisheye lens, and you can use the video editor to create your clips and share them. You can play with multiple options, including changing the field of view, time of day, filters, and different camera views (tripod, orbit, etc.). Session: Skate Sim also offers the chance to go from skater to filmmaker: pull off your moves then go into film mode to experience the action from the point of view of your camera operator and create the best clip.

Show off your style with an extensive customisation system for your skater and skateboard. By completing challenges, you earn money to spend in skate shops. You can find nearly 200 items (hoodies, shoes, caps, T-shirts, trousers, etc.) from top brands, such as Fallen, Zero, GrindKing, Thankyou, HIJINX Net, Antilanta, Roger Skate CO, No-Comply, iDabble and others. You can also customise your skateboard with over 250 parts, such as wheels, trucks and many other components from famous brands like, No-Comply, GindKing, Thankyou and many others. In addition to the design aspect, the components (trucks, riser pads, wheels…) impact the way you skate. Find the right ones for your style and shred the most iconic spots!

the worst skateboard game ever the hitbox of every ledges rails etc is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up pls do something idgaf about having 120 fps i want a well developped skate game
Hands down the only skate game I ever recommend. It's been years me and my buddy have been playing and talking about this game. Looking forward to what is coming next!
Skate is better, im sorry but it just is This games complex control system seemed really cool at first but the moment i started playing that 100% did not translate to fun, these controls feel soooo cumbersome and hard to wrap your head around. On paper each analog stick controlling each foot sounds perfect but translating those movements to a controller is just awful it doesnt transfer at all, plus grinds are annoying because there is no magnetization like in Skate which just makes hitting ledges and rails so hard for no reason, your character bails and fully ragdolls over anything and sometimes out of nowhere, and like man this is all to make this game feel more “realistic“ but it sure as hell doesnt with all the jank animations and bugs surrounding the game, even including mission objectives just not counting
Got this game way back when early access first released on Steam. For maybe the first 6 months to a year, there were some updates with new places to ride and refinements. Since then, there's been little no change or improvements. The only work the devs seem to care about is making more DLCs when the game is still pretty buggy and largely missing quality transition skating. DLCs are fine, but the base game shouldn't be filled with the same bugs for years while the only releases are DLCs. When it first came out, this game was really something unique. Now, it might as well be made by EA with all the DLCs required to skate anything but the first couple maps. This game had a lot of potential, but the devs sold out.
dlc game dont waste your money for now no new content unless you pay more. pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥
Unfortunately this is the best (street) skateboarding sim. The actual skating feels really good, but everything else has that janky early access feel to it. It took them almost 5 years to add a throwdown animation, but there's still no animation for slamming, standing up, jumping, or stumbling slightly off your board. There's also still no grabs or transition skating. There's an option to enable lip tricks, but it doesn't seem to work at all. The game is also crazy overpriced, definitely don't buy it at full price. I only recommend this game if you are desperate for street skating sim, and it's on sale.
i want to love this game. I played the original Skate on 360 and i can see soooo much potential here. my problem was, i got stuck in a wall and had to quit to desktop as there was no reset button and i couldnt stop ragdolling in the wall after reset. After that, the tutorial instructions are just extremely unclear. i was doing SOOOO many pop shux its and the game just wouldnt count them. I may buy this again when its in a state thats playable.
