Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 342.29/day in the week to Jul 18 → 4.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

With the dual stick controls, each stick represents one of your feet. You will need to learn how to control them and transfer weight, just like on a real skateboard. The physics have been developed with a focus on realism, smoothness and immersion. Just like in real life for a new skateboarder, the first hours can seem challenging, but once you have mastered the technique, you will feel the unrivalled thrill of pulling off your very first kickflip! Session: Skate Sim also includes full options customisation, so you can enjoy the perfect experience tailored to you. A full tutorial provides all the help you need to get started, and you can choose from four difficulty levels!

Inspired by the golden age of street skating – the 1990s – Session: Skate Sim lets you experience true skateboarding and its culture: no scoring system; just you, your spot and your imagination! There's no need for judges to tell you that your noseslide or varial heelflip are perfect for this spot. And because certain locations are iconic, the developers have added several of them to the game for you to skate in and express your creativity, including Black Hubbas (New York City), Brooklyn banks (New York City), FDR Park (Philadelphia) and many other spots.

Skating and pulling off the best lines in the best spots is one thing, but if no one is there to film it, it didn't really happen… In Session: Skate Sim, you can film with a 1990s filter or fisheye lens, and you can use the video editor to create your clips and share them. You can play with multiple options, including changing the field of view, time of day, filters, and different camera views (tripod, orbit, etc.). Session: Skate Sim also offers the chance to go from skater to filmmaker: pull off your moves then go into film mode to experience the action from the point of view of your camera operator and create the best clip.

Show off your style with an extensive customisation system for your skater and skateboard. By completing challenges, you earn money to spend in skate shops. You can find nearly 200 items (hoodies, shoes, caps, T-shirts, trousers, etc.) from top brands, such as Fallen, Zero, GrindKing, Thankyou, HIJINX Net, Antilanta, Roger Skate CO, No-Comply, iDabble and others. You can also customise your skateboard with over 250 parts, such as wheels, trucks and many other components from famous brands like, No-Comply, GindKing, Thankyou and many others. In addition to the design aspect, the components (trucks, riser pads, wheels…) impact the way you skate. Find the right ones for your style and shred the most iconic spots!

Love this game!! Was a little bit of a learning curve to get used to the double stick controls, but once I got it, it was a walk in the park. Some things are still tricky, but going for a simple line and actually stomping it feels so satisfying, but every attempt is different, so its not a mind numbing feeling of "f**k this." Its not a button mash game, you have to know what you're doing and what trick/line you're trying to attempt, but its not "hard". Skill plays a factor, but not hard like others have made it out to be, certain tricks are harder, just like irl, but saying the entire gameplay is hard... a bit of a reach, get basic tricks down on flat, then you're rocking honestly. Story feels very 90s-00s, but it reminds me of gaming on the PS1 back in the day. Lots of fun to be had, lines to skate. Screw EA, screw "Skate. not Skate 4." Play this instead, well worth the money, especially after the recent update, I just hope with the recent news that support for this game continues.
If what you love about skateboarding is the feeling of battling and finally overcoming a difficult trick - and you wish skate games were realistic like that, then this game is for you. It's hard, on purpose - and we like it that way!
currently, the best skateboard sim game, hands down. skater xl is too floaty. the EA mmo is a ghey money grab. and from what i keep seeing from this developer, they keep improving. animations for picking up the board and putting down the board where the latest update. if you are/were a skater and want a fun skateboarding game, don't even f-around with those other titles.
This game could be soo good if they just made some common sense tweaks I don't mind the fact that this is much more of a skateboarding simulator than game, it feels good to just chill and create cool lines in the replay editor. However! This game still just feels wonky, pushing your board is never right to me, its always too fast or to slow, even with consient button pressing on the same level plane you get diffrent results which is incredibly frustrating. A new pushing system that rewards timing your push and going for big long pushes for more speed would feel so much better. Another thing that needs editing is defenitly the clipping, I have my character clip through my board then bail from a trick which is just annoying. Sometimes his feet would just fall right through mid kick flip and it will bail me. If you are thinking of buying this id reccomend it only on sale and only if you really enjoy skateboarding games for their more chill laid back feeling otherwise get tony hawk pro skater for the more arcadey style game.
It just feels bad to play, which is the core of any successful skate game. They went down a flawed turd pathway early on in terms of the core skate physics and you can't polish a turd!
The game controls are fine. but it's unfriendly to skateboarding beginners . I dont know these tricks . how am I supposed to do them? The mission design is terrible , you might stuck at a mission for a long time and dont know how to improve ,how the mission determines success Finally , I suggest putting down your controller , picking up your skateboard and go practice in real life . Good luck!
