[h1]Overall a charming and mostly fun top-down shooter with retro aesthetics…[/h1] …if it weren‘t for the ridiculous difficulty spike in the very last level. You can count like this: Half the playtime (equals 3 to 4 hours) for the first seven easypeasy cakewalk levels plus the other half (another 3 to 4 hours) for the last level alone. Apart from that and the fact that Serious Sam moves annoyingly slow here, Bogus Detour is among the best, if not THE best Serious Sam spin-off. A lot more accessible, more fun, a bit better balanced and thus better overall than Serious Sam Tormental, but not quite as good as the main games. Bogus Detour has four difficulty modes and multiplayer, so there is some replayability, making it basically perfectly prized at 10 Euros. Recommended to Serious Sam fans and people who like simple arcady action and retro visuals. ______________________________ SERIOUS SAM BOGUS DETOUR Genre: Arcade-Action Release: Q2 2017 ( ) 0/8 Simply one of the worst games ever made. Don't pay more than 15 bucks. ( ) 5/8 Good game, Must-play for genre- / series-fans. Worth 20 to 25 bucks max, if you are not a fan. ( ) 6/8 Great game, universal recommendation. 30 bucks would be a steal for this. ( ) 7/8 Outstanding game, a milestone of it‘s respective genre. Definitely worth its full prize. I enjoyed the single player experience but ran into issues trying to get multiplayer working.

Barely played it but it's made by the people that made Hammerwatch. It's going to be good. Also very good price, especially on sale. Edit: Game is not working when navigating the menu in splitscreen.
