Serious sam 4 is not worth the money. First few chapters were great, introducing new enemies and weapons. After you saw everything, the repetition started. Same enemies, same waves, same 10+ minute fights. Same mechanic of your plane crashing and you starting with no weapons repeating 3 times. Only boss fights were keeping me in the game after chapter 5, but then came the France chapters. Huge landscapes, action separated by filler. The final boss was a huge let down, nothing interesting and it started pissing me off. Do some damage, waste 5 minutes on random enemies while your allies do nothing, they just run forward like cardboard cutouts. Save yourself the money and buy something else.

前評判で警戒してたけど、個人的にはシリーズでもかなり面白い部類だと思います。（一番はSE） いろいろな施策で味変がちょいちょい効いててよかったと思います。 [spoiler]シリーズ通して最終ステージが単調なゴリ押しになってダレてたけど、なんと今回は最終ステージがそこそこ面白いぞ！ [/spoiler]

Начнём с хорошего: очень весело стрелять, куча ошмётков и куча монстров Минусы: всё остальное, как и во 2-й части убогий сюжет которому зачем-то уделено много времени, но не сил, затянутость уровней за счёт их больших размеров.

As a huge fan of The First Encounter and The Second Encounter I will never recommend this game. It feels more dated than the first games. Terribly optimised or even not optimised at all: 2D trees in cutscenes, really? Dialogues are corny, but it's nothing compared to how Sam's voice sounds (why was it recorded so awfully?) Skip it, don't force yourself to like it. Better replay the OG parts of the franchise and hope that someday Serious Sam will be revived as it was with Doom
