The game is fun when playing in coop! The devs have been constantly updating the game adding new content (new mechanics included), still polishing the basics with tins of QoL improvements. Though there is still a long way to go but I hope that they will continue!
Updates continue giving the game life. I got this around the same time as Wild West Dynasty. This game exceeds it in every way. It may even be better than medieval dynasty, though maybe after some more updates

Performance on any setting was pretty terrible. There was tons of stuttering and massive input lag that made for a really nauseating experience.
The graphics are beautiful, the house building system and the combat system are well-done, but the character designs aren't very appealing. 0+++0

Grafisch erwarte ich mittlerweile auch mehr als das was man dort hingebastelt hat. Gegnerische KI bewegt sich vorrauschend, aber auch oft unbeholfen. Die Kämpfe finde ich persönlich mangelhaft. Da denkt man sich, war das wirklich gewollt oder hat man es einfach hineingesetzt. Tierwelt empfinde ich auch schlecht dargestellt. Ich finde vieles Copy - Paste Medival Dynasty, aber Sachen wie Nachwuchs im Dorf oder anderes gutes fehlt komplett. Du darfst nur laufen, also keine reitbaren Tiere. Allgemein, die Tiere die du Jagen kannst, sind die einzigen im Spiel und was ist mit Weidetieren? Stalltieren etc?!? Felder sind eine Katastrophe und nicht so groß wie dargestellt. Das Gute sind, die Anzahl der Dörfer und Schnellreisepunkte, da ziehe ich aber auch wieder einen Punkt ab, weil man diese nicht sortieren oder umbennen kann. Irgendwann ist da ein Chaos, Ich weis nicht mal auf der Karte wo der Schnellreisepunkt 12 ist z.b. Normal bewerte ich Spiele ab 40h Spielzeit eigentlich als Okay. Aber bei diesem, gerade weil es eine Art Klon ist von (MD) und ich das Gefühl habe es ist noch im Early Access, kann ich das Spiel nicht anders bewerten, als mittelmässig. Ich würde mir das Spiel nicht nochmal holen und zocken werde ich es auch nicht mehr.
At first I was a little hesitant to dive into this game thinking it would be pretty complex...but once you've played the first few hours you notice that it's not that bad at all. I did choose a more relaxed difficulty mode and I'm convinced that there's quite the challenge to be had if you go for a higher one. All in all though, I did enjoy my time with Sengoku Dynasty. Are there still issues? Yes. Is the combat system the best I've ever played? Not at all. Is the story engaging? Barely. Are the graphics and animations top-notch? Nope, but it's more than sufficient. The overall progression feels nice and rewarding and seeing your small community grow into a huge village is the perfect task after work, so if you're into that, you probably won't regret playing the game.

I've tried playing this a dozen times now with other people. Now I've even tried doing coop on LAN. New game, no buildings or complex villages, and the rubber banding makes it impossible. We're hardwired and have way better machines than required, and my wife rubberbands a dozen yards to either side including off of cliffs and into the ocean. It's just entirely unplayable. Single player runs fine, but the co-op/networking is absolute garbage.
Playing this game for about 7 days.. here are my few comments: I’d love to see a few improvements: More customization for villagers (clothes and weapons) Add pagoda structures for historical accuracy Let villagers join as companions when attacking enemy bases A family system where villagers can pair up and have up to 2 children Add customize pond in ZEN buildings Also, there’s a bug where moving items to storage sometimes changes the quantity. Overall, I love the game and see huge potential if these get added/fixed.
Ran absolutely horribly for me. Even on lowest graphics it stuttered like crazy. People will say "oh, just go change this setting or disable this or that on your computer" but no, a game shouldn't require that to run smoothly. Tutorial is just text boxes with a novel of text that pop up without pausing the game. This isn't ideal when the game is as complicated as it is. The dynasty system is a great idea but so tedious to work out. Villagers need food? Assign jobs for them to get food. Oh, but there's no food so nobody wants to do their job!
