Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Selaco is a brand new original shooter inspired by classics, featuring thrilling action set pieces, destructibility, smart enemies and a fleshed out story taking place within an immersive game world. It draws inspiration heavily from F.E.A.R. in terms of action set pieces, while mixing exploration elements from Half-Life, along with some more modern features.

The story takes place during a violent invasion on Selaco, a massive space station sheltering the last refugees after Earth’s fall just a few years prior. You play as Dawn Collins, an ACE Security Captain who, with her recent promotion and high level security clearances, is digging deep into the truth behind Selaco's murky history. Before she can finish her investigation, Selaco is rocked by explosions and armed invaders.

A lengthy adventure-driven campaign
Selaco offers a massive, uninterrupted journey packed with action and atmosphere. Explore a wide range of environments in a fully connected world - no cutaways, no time jumps, just seamless momentum from start to finish.
Intense Action set pieces
Blast through your environment with impactful weapons that really leave a mark on the world. That once lavish office space, now nothing but a pile of rubble with broken paintings, smashed tables, screen, chairs, smoke, and chunks of debris.
Custom AI
Selaco’s AI was built from the ground up for dynamic, coordinated combat. Enemies communicate, flank, suppress, and adapt to your tactics - keeping pressure when you're aggressive or rushing when you're vulnerable. Hundreds of voiced lines hint at their next move, making every fight feel alive.
Full soundtrack
Selaco features an original, full-length soundtrack composed by Lawrence Steele, with over 3 hours of neon-tinged electronica spanning from high-intensity combat tracks to immersive, atmospheric soundscapes.
Adapt & Overcome
As enemies evolve and gain access to new tools, so do you. Improve your weaponry with new utility upgrades, or transform weapon behavior entirely with Weapon Kits.
Replayability
Selaco is designed with replayability in mind. Jump into Randomizer Mode to experience remixed mechanics, exclusive enemies, and fully customizable chaos. Or test your skills in Incursion Mode (coming later during Early Access), an endless survival challenge set in Deathmatch-style arenas.

This game is incredible!
this game is outstanding. as of the time im writing this, im only a little under 10 hours in, and havent even finished it, but ive been loving it so much that i had to write a review as soon as i could. this game is a fascinating blend of FPS, retro shooter and metroidvania style gameplay. im no game journalist, so the best way i could describe it is like if metroid prime had a baby with doom. the graphics are equal parts simplistic and gorgeous, even on the lowest graphics settings. i dont have a powerful computer, but ive had no problems playing, aside from the odd FPS drops. but even then, its still easily playable. the gameplay is excellent, with fun weapons and enemies, and interesting areas to explore. im not great at this kind of gameplay, but ive still been having a lot of fun with everything. combat is solid, and exploring the maps for secrets or even just appreciating the world is awesome. speaking of the maps, theyre extremely detailed. the amount of stuff you can find and interact with is amazing. ive played very few games that feel this lived in and immersive. the story and lore is quite subtle, but i love it. this game relies on enviromental storytelling and finding notes dotted around the map in order to learn about whats going on. the mystery is very compelling. this game also has a great sense of humour, with a bunch of funny details all around the world. edit after posting: the music is awesome too! i dont have as much to say about it as i do the other stuff, but its still great. amazing game. as of writing, its still in early access, but i cannot wait to see more. highly, highly recommend :3

It's amazing what the developers behind this game have been able to accomplish with GZDoom. Great gunplay, rewards exploration with plenty of secrets, great visuals, various elements of immersive sims are present. and the enemy AI is also pretty impressive as well. I did end up having a problem with the game crashing after an update, but I used the official Discord channel and the developers responded promptly and my issue was resolved pretty quickly which is something I think is rarely seen. Some other things to note is that the roadmap has been very clear, the devs have been very transparent and consistent about their updates and have delivered on the promises made. I think this game is well worth your money if you like boomer shooters with elements of immersive sims and gives me a sense of Half Life as well. Excellent game imo.
Love it! it runs great. the music's great. Brings me back to the early doom days, highly recommend
very good boomer shooter, very punishing I like the exploring part too, although initially the mapping was a bit confusing running around with map open, should perhaps be better explained to newbies
An incredibly fun FPS with good movement, shooting, and lots of little goodies to find (if you care)
Doom mixed with modern day movement mechanics, I like it a lot.
Selaco is a brilliant game in many ways. The weapon balance is phenomenal, and so many of the weapons are fun to use. I'd give it a 10/10, just as a person. I just really like Selaco. And from a critical standpoint, I'd give it a 9.5. The weapons are fun and crunchy, enemies are aggressive and powerful, and everyone is constantly exploding under barrages of shotgun shells, trip mines, grenades... the occasional turret. It's very entertaining, and it reminds me a lot of Half Life, but without the horror element. Selaco has great mobility too, and Dawn -- the protagonist -- can slide across a room and kick an enemy into the next universe. But while these engagements are really fun, they do feel somewhat sporadic. I think Selaco would work best if it felt kinda relentless, but there are long periods of not getting in firefights while you wonder where the hell you're supposed to be going. This could be remedied with a GPS system, or by keeping up the game's tension by having enemies around when you're back tracking and having them drop health and ammo. Or, by adding more of the item supply machines in and making the "save only at Gwen machines" a default game mode, keeping the tension up when no-one is around, but not making things too punishing. (I'd still pepper a few stray guys in when you backtrack, even then. You gotta keep the players on their toes.) There is also a weird caveat in the item supply machines. They hold an upgraded melee attack for 4000 credits. You can also buy medpacks for 200 credits. I have played through this game TWICE now without buying medpacks because I was saving up for the melee attack. IT'S SUCH A DUMB WAY TO PLAY AND I DON'T KNOW WHY I KEEP DOING IT. The upgraded melee is cool, but it's not game-altering. HAVING A STEADY SUPPLY OF MEDKITS, HOWEVER, WOULD BE. Anyway, I'm just dumb. -- Spoilers about weapon types follow -- What are also game-altering, however, are some of the upgrades you can get for your weapons. I began on Selaco's Commander difficulty and then played through on Captain, and Captain -- while technically significantly harder -- wasn't all that bad because I finally read the freaking weapon descriptions and stopped getting swarmed by robot spiders, thanks to the melee stun attack on the submachine guns. A few other things that made the game a lot easier were that I also used the nail gun's turret, saved acid grenades -- which I had zero awareness of the value of on my first playthrough -- for juggernauts, and I used the slug attachment for the shotgun. Let's talk about the slug attachment for the shotgun. I LOVE the slugs. You can headshot a dude across a room as if you were standing right next to him. It's so powerful that, while on my first playthrough I used the DMR frequently, and slid up to guys to shotgun them point blank, on my second playthrough I just used slugs. It kinda ruined the game, even though I did it to myself. But it's an easy fix -- just make a limited ammo type. In that case though, I'd make one click of the right mouse button load the slug, and the second click fire it, while allowing the left click to always shoot a close range round. That way the player is still encouraged to get in close without worrying about wasting a slug round. And being able to fire off a sudden headshot-round at any moment would mitigate the nerf a lot. I think this attachment and the turret should maybe should be available in vending machines too; leave the secrets, but let people buy them in case they miss them first time through. They're just so useful. In conclusion, Selaco is an amazing game. If they add in stories and make the world feel more lived in, and if they make enemy encounters more consistent or find an organic way to keep the player from getting lost while preserving the puzzle elements, I think it will end up more and more of a classic title.
woah!!! fun
Finally, a worthy successor to F.E.A.R
