Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A modest title to hang out, it's free so you don't lose anything by trying it and it has achievements.
A generic shooter where you fight against gravity in a rocket ship to survive an onslaught of enemy drones. The “hacker” aesthetic is barely relevant, except for the weird little text prompt startup. It’s competently put together, except for the weird glitch that shrunk the window to 400 pixels wide, which is frustrating when considering that this rudimentary game doesn’t have a windowed mode. I was sort of enjoying the medal competition, but aside from getting personal bests in the survival levels and high score mode, there isn’t really much to do apart from grinding ship parts to max out your capabilities and complete the achievements. There are ten levels of parts, and the most expensive pulls still have level THREES in their rotation. You can upgrade by combining duplicate parts, but they require a special currency that also has to be grinded. I’ve had worse grinding experiences, but I played hours longer than I needed going for completion. Movement works, but the momentum and gravity mechanics are so transparently basic. The high score mode mixes things up with random modifiers to the controls and physics, but they aren’t very exciting in of themselves, they just force you to adjust your routine. The screen shakes and pixelates when you get damaged to make your mistakes more punishing than they deserve to be. Overall, I’d say that this isn’t a bad game for a dev to start out with, but not a game worth paying money for.

got it from a random steam key, very good game worth 7.50. if you are looking for a arcade experience this is it. however the upgrade system could be a little better.
This game is nuts! I've been playing it all night long. Deserves way more attention. Awesome one-screen shooter, I even made a video about the game. Lots of micro optimization, which I love. Haven't been playing a good indie game in a very long time.

Developed and published by Volens Nolens Games, SEGFAULT is an independent action shooter that embraces a stylish cyberpunk premise by placing players in the role of an infamous black hat hacker carrying out dangerous digital infiltrations. Rather than portraying hacking through complex programming mechanics, the game transforms cyberspace into a battlefield where reflexes, firepower, and strategic upgrades determine success. Its premise revolves around breaching the security systems of powerful corporations, stealing sensitive data, and building a criminal reputation through increasingly difficult operations. The futuristic setting, coupled with its digital aesthetic and hacker-themed progression, gives the game a memorable identity that separates it from more conventional arcade shooters. The gameplay emphasizes fast movement, precision shooting, and continuous character progression. Each completed mission rewards players with resources that can be invested in stronger equipment and new capabilities, creating a satisfying loop of risk and reward. One of the game's standout features is its extensive upgrade system, which offers dozens of enhancements that allow players to tailor their abilities to different combat approaches. The option to acquire components through the in-game Deep Web marketplace and merge them into more powerful equipment introduces an enjoyable layer of experimentation, encouraging players to discover effective combinations instead of relying on a single strategy throughout the entire experience. Replayability is one of SEGFAULT's strongest qualities thanks to its large collection of gameplay mutators that significantly alter how missions unfold. These modifiers generate a wide variety of gameplay combinations, ensuring that repeated runs remain unpredictable and require players to constantly adapt. The inclusion of online leaderboards further strengthens the competitive aspect by motivating players to improve their efficiency, achieve higher scores, and refine their builds. Steam achievements and detailed performance tracking also provide additional goals beyond simply completing the campaign, making the game appealing to players who enjoy chasing completion milestones or mastering arcade-style mechanics. The game's presentation complements its concept effectively without overextending its indie ambitions. A sarcastic and unpredictable AI companion accompanies the player during missions, injecting personality into the experience while reinforcing the game's digital setting. The visual style favors clean futuristic environments and cyber-themed effects instead of cutting-edge graphics, allowing the atmosphere to remain consistent without demanding powerful hardware. Although the story primarily serves to support the gameplay rather than deliver an elaborate narrative, the overall presentation successfully maintains the illusion of participating in a high-stakes campaign against corporate security systems. SEGFAULT succeeds by combining accessible shooter mechanics with rewarding progression systems and a distinctive hacker-inspired theme. While players looking for a deep narrative or realistic hacking simulation may find its scope relatively straightforward, those who enjoy arcade action supported by meaningful upgrades, customization, and replayable challenges will likely find plenty to appreciate. Its steady progression, numerous equipment combinations, gameplay modifiers, and competitive features create an experience that remains engaging long after the first successful infiltration. For fans of indie action games with a cyberpunk flavor and an emphasis on skill improvement, SEGFAULT offers a focused and entertaining package that delivers exactly what it sets out to achieve.
