I didn't find the puzzles very engaging. I love doing escape rooms with my family, but sadly this didn't scratch that itch.
Good game, puzzles not obvious. Except for one that has no logic so you'll need a soluce. But the rest is good.
Very excellent and tough, but fair puzzles. It's very fun when you figure out a particularly difficult puzzle. On the last level, wish me luck
Decent escape room implementation. Though it could have used a right click to exit interactions or some other key than esc.
Sorry, no. The sound design sets my teeth on edge.

Secrets of Blackrock Manor – Escape Room, developed and published by Biri Biri, is a compact puzzle-focused experience that aims to recreate the logic-driven satisfaction of a real-world escape room within a digital setting. Rather than building a sprawling narrative adventure, it narrows its scope to a sequence of carefully constructed environments, each designed to test observation, deduction, and patience. The result is a game that feels intentionally contained, prioritizing puzzle density over scale and offering a focused experience that is easy to pick up but occasionally demanding to push through. The premise is simple and largely serves as a backdrop: you enter Blackrock Manor in search of hidden secrets and a rumored fortune, uncovering fragments of its past as you move from room to room. Storytelling is minimal and mostly environmental, conveyed through scattered notes, subtle details, and the design of each space. While there is a sense of mystery tying everything together, the narrative never takes center stage. Instead, it functions as a light thematic thread that gives context to the puzzles without interrupting their flow, which suits the game’s overall design. Each room acts as a self-contained escape scenario, filled with interconnected puzzles that must be solved in sequence or in parallel. Early stages introduce the basic logic of interaction—examining objects, identifying patterns, and combining clues—before gradually increasing complexity. As the game progresses, puzzles become more layered, often requiring players to track multiple threads of information at once and revisit earlier observations with new understanding. The best moments come when separate clues suddenly align, creating that satisfying realization that everything fits together. It is in these moments that the game feels most rewarding, delivering the kind of mental payoff that defines the genre. However, the difficulty curve can be uneven. While many puzzles are well-designed and logically structured, others rely on more abstract reasoning that may not feel fully supported by the clues provided. This can lead to moments where progress depends less on deduction and more on trial and error, which can break the sense of immersion. The game does include a hint system, but it is not always consistently helpful. Some hints are too vague to guide effectively, while others still require interpretation, meaning that players can remain stuck even after using them. Combined with a cooldown system that limits how often hints can be accessed, this can occasionally turn challenging puzzles into frustrating obstacles. Visually, the game adopts a clean and understated style that emphasizes readability. Each room is distinct enough to maintain interest, with layouts and visual cues designed to highlight interactive elements without overwhelming the player. The environments are not particularly detailed, but they are functional and cohesive, supporting the gameplay rather than distracting from it. The audio design follows a similar approach, using subtle ambient sounds and minimalistic cues to reinforce the atmosphere without drawing too much attention away from the puzzles themselves. One of the game’s strengths lies in its pacing. Because each room can typically be completed within a manageable timeframe, it works well in short sessions, making it easy to engage with without a significant time commitment. This structure also lends itself naturally to cooperative play in a casual sense, as players can work through puzzles together by discussing possibilities or taking turns experimenting with solutions. Even without a formal multiplayer mode, the design encourages this kind of shared problem-solving. At the same time, the game’s limited scope becomes more apparent once the puzzles are completed. With only a handful of rooms and little variation beyond the core mechanics, there is minimal replay value. The experience is largely defined by the first playthrough, as the solutions, once discovered, remove much of the challenge. Additionally, the segmented nature of the rooms can make the manor feel less like a cohesive location and more like a series of isolated challenges, which slightly weakens the sense of immersion. Despite these limitations, Secrets of Blackrock Manor – Escape Room succeeds in delivering a concentrated puzzle experience that captures the essence of escape room design. It offers a steady stream of challenges that reward careful thinking and persistence, even if some of them push the boundaries of logic a bit too far. The game does not attempt to innovate beyond its core concept, but it executes that concept with enough consistency to remain engaging throughout its short runtime. In the end, it stands as a solid, if modest, entry in the digital escape room genre. It is best suited for players who enjoy methodical puzzle-solving and are comfortable navigating occasional moments of ambiguity. While it may not leave a lasting impression in terms of story or presentation, its puzzles provide enough satisfaction to make the journey worthwhile. Rating: 8/10
Certaines énigmes sont compliquées et les aides un peu trop limitées. Mais dans l'ensemble c'est agréable à jouer.
Very fun, worth playing! A quick and delightful experience, just a couple hours.
This one just really didn't click with me, to put it mildly. I encountered a lot of roadblocks that felt more like design short-comings than me being obtuse or struggling with hard puzzles (though there were some moments of that too!). Stuff like the game making it very difficult to see what things in a room were interactable, or there being e.g. three open puzzles in the room, all with 5-digit combinations, and no meaningful clues about which 5-digit clue goes to each proverbial lock. It really feels to me like this game struggles to communicate information to the player, to the point that even the hints felt somewhat incoherent at times. For example: a row of cabinets in the kitchen might each have a knob handle and be openable by the player... except for one. At the end of that row of cabinets is one that looks exactly the same as the rest, with the same design, color, and handle, that you simply can't open– and which will only be opened later by solving a puzzle... that has no apparent connection to this cabinet. No symbol on the door, no lock keeping it closed; nothing in the room or interface design to communicate whether you, the player, are engaging with something incorrectly (e.g. standing too far away to interact), or whether you're trying to do something you simply can't do in that moment... which leads to a lot of frustrating "is this a puzzle?" sort of moments. I don't mean to say that we need yellow paint here– there will always be things that click with some people and not others! My point is more that a huge part of a well-designed escape room is good design cues and coherent puzzle language, and there were a lot of moments in this game that made me feel frustrated, not because I couldn't grasp the puzzle, but because I didn't understand, and didn't feel like the game was communicating, how to interact with the room... and for me, that lead to a game that felt a lot less clever than it did frustrating.
