Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Secret Files: Sam Peters takes the familiar point-and-click adventure formula and narrows its focus into a more personal and contained mystery. Instead of delivering a large-scale story involving worldwide conspiracies and multiple interconnected plots, the game chooses a more concentrated approach centered around one character and a specific investigation. The result is an adventure that feels smaller in scope than some entries connected to the Secret Files universe, yet still manages to create intrigue through mythology, exploration, and supernatural mystery. The story follows journalist Sam Peters, who travels to Africa in pursuit of strange reports and unexplained incidents connected to local legends. What initially begins as a professional investigation slowly develops into something far more dangerous as rumors surrounding mysterious creatures and ancient stories become increasingly difficult to dismiss. The game builds much of its appeal around the idea of searching for truth in situations where myth and reality appear to overlap, creating a narrative that gradually pulls players deeper into uncertainty. One of the strongest aspects of the experience is its use of cryptid and folklore themes. Rather than relying entirely on secret organizations or familiar thriller concepts, the game draws inspiration from legends and unexplained phenomena. Stories involving creatures hidden beyond human understanding have always carried a sense of fascination, and Secret Files: Sam Peters uses that appeal effectively. The mystery becomes engaging because players are constantly trying to determine whether they are following simple stories or uncovering something much larger. Sam herself also serves as an effective protagonist throughout the adventure. Her role as a journalist fits naturally with the investigative structure of the game because curiosity and persistence drive much of the progression. Instead of passively reacting to events, she actively searches for information and continues pushing forward despite increasingly dangerous circumstances. This approach helps maintain narrative momentum because players feel as if they are uncovering mysteries through determination rather than merely stumbling into them. Gameplay follows traditional point-and-click mechanics, focusing heavily on exploration and puzzle-solving. Players examine environments, collect items, interact with characters, and combine objects to move the story forward. The experience relies more on observation and problem-solving than action, allowing the mystery itself to remain at the center of progression. Fans of classic adventure games will likely feel immediately familiar with the structure because it follows many of the genre's established principles. The environments also contribute significantly to the atmosphere. The African setting gives the game a distinct identity and helps create a sense of isolation throughout the journey. Exploring abandoned areas, remote locations, and mysterious surroundings creates a feeling that players are stepping further into unknown territory. The environments help support the narrative because the world itself constantly suggests that hidden dangers and unanswered questions exist beneath the surface. Visually, the game follows a presentation style that supports exploration without overwhelming the experience with unnecessary complexity. Backgrounds contain enough detail to create believable locations while still allowing important objects and interactive elements to remain noticeable. The visual direction focuses more on storytelling and functionality than on technical spectacle, which works well within the structure of a traditional adventure title. One limitation that becomes noticeable is the overall length of the experience. Since the game functions as a smaller adventure within the larger Secret Files universe, the story reaches its conclusion relatively quickly. Players who become invested in the mystery and setting may find themselves wishing there was more time spent expanding certain ideas and narrative elements. Puzzle design may also occasionally create moments of frustration depending on player expectations. Like many traditional point-and-click adventures, some solutions can feel less intuitive than expected and may require experimentation or unusual item combinations. While longtime fans of the genre may consider this part of the experience, newer players could occasionally find progression slower than anticipated. Despite these shortcomings, Secret Files: Sam Peters succeeds because it delivers an engaging mystery built around folklore and investigation while offering a different perspective within the larger series. Rather than trying to become an enormous adventure, it focuses on creating a more intimate story driven by curiosity and exploration. For players who enjoy classic point-and-click gameplay, investigative narratives, and stories involving myths and unexplained creatures, Secret Files: Sam Peters offers a focused adventure that remains entertaining from beginning to end. Even with its smaller scale, it provides enough mystery and atmosphere to create a memorable journey. Rating: 7/10

Hezký, ale k hovnu.
Good story line. Well thought out gameplay. Just challenging enough to keep things interesting. Worth the price!
It is an enjoyable point-and-click game with a mysterious storyline and beautiful environments.
