Second Sight

For how cheap this game goes for on sale, Second Sight is worth it. Good enough acting, expressive characters, a compelling story, a nice artstyle, and a satisfying plot that doesn't go on for longer than it needs to. Best of all is the gameplay. Access to a fun multitude of powers as you go through the game with John Vattic, the main character. In a lot of aspects it still holds up. My only problems were the cutscene/audio issues where cutscenes would cut off too quickly and the audio would be out of the sync. An issue that especially frustrated me was not being able to close the game and pick up where you left off. You have to finish a level and only get checkpoints in the same session. Whenever you close it, you start from the beginning of the mission each time. Thankfully, chapters aren't painfully tedious and usually last up to an hour each at most. 7/10.

A super fun little action-adventure title! I played this game as a kid back when it came out, and it's much easier to play as a adult with critical thinking skills lol. It definitely plays like it was made in the early 2000's, but not in a bad way. The combat and stealth are passable, though can be frustrating at times. The story is pretty well presented, and kept me engaged through the entire playthrough. Do know it's pretty short if you're halfway decent action games, still fun nonetheless.

I played it back in the day on playstation 2 and had a blast. Found it here recently and bought it on pc. The controls are too junky and unresponsive, mouse controls will have you constantly focusing the wrong way when facing and object thus turning your back on enemies. Unsupported community controler gameplay was better but you have to memorize what keyboard key is connected to what controler button and I've had issues with simple tasks like moving around corners while in cover or switching targets and shooting with bad sensitivity. You are using cover, if you use your movement pad the character peeks behind cover, if you use it at another imaginary milimeter angle further he will follow the wall and walk around the corner while still in cover. It took me half a dozen tries for the character to do that on a sneaking tutorial. I gave up mid-tutorial when the same mechanic was implimented during shooting tutorials that will become of use later in the game. The resolution has not been updated to support newer ones, I have constant object and texture flickering and visual bugs. I liked the original game, but this port is a mess and not how the game was meant to be played.

An overlooked classic from my childhood. Though I will admit there are a few frustrating moments. By the way, if the FPS is low, restart PC.

A blast from the past. Classic story. Wonky controls but it's not unplayable.

No controller support for no reason.

Second Sight was a good game for me to play on the Playstation, and I didn't mind playing it again on PC. The story is a good one, and the gameplay is not hard to get accustomed to - its tricky to work between gun fights and physic skills, but its still an enjoyable game. Although it has age, and the graphics are not as fine these days, it's still a good game to play.

juegazo, lo jugué cuando era muy chico en play 2, no lo pasé mas allá del primer nivel porque me volvió loco el poder jugar con fisicas, y ahora lo agarré de vuelta mas de 20 años despues, y la verdad, juegazo
