長時間没頭するゲームではなく、時々立ち上げてちょっと貝殻を拾って、気持ちが落ち着いたら寝る……みたいな遊び方がオススメのゲーム。 ランダムに漂着する貝を拾って収集して図鑑を埋めていくだけのシンプルな作り。 貝にはサイズと模様の個性があるので、「それぞれの貝の最大サイズを拾ってみたい」というような意識も芽生える。 貝の種類も結構豊富且つカテゴリがある。 同一カテゴリの貝をまとめて拾うとコンボ点がつくようなイメージ。 かと言って、点を競うゲームでもないので「たまには海で貝殻でも拾いたいな」という気分のときにまったりするために遊ぶ感じ。 落ち着いた雰囲気のゲーム、ガツガツプレイする必要のないもの、癒やしを求めている人、海やビーチコーミングが好きな人にオススメ。 This is a kind of cozy games. I recommend this to people who like ocean, beach combing, relaxing game. There're a lot of kind of shells. It has variation of size and pattern. Whenever you play this, you would be relax and perhaps get sleepy. So this is good for inducing sleep.

It’s rewarding, relaxing, and the journal is a joy to fill out. Plus, I’m actually learning something! Who knew my endless need to pick things up and hoard them could be educational? 👍 Absolutely recommended!

A fairly simple puzzle game where pulling certain shells of a certain type will then cause different shells to wash ashore. There were three tiers of shell types along with a fourth tier of legendary shells. I did end up having to use some tips from other players to understand some of the tips for legendary shells. But otherwise it was a pretty simple game to figure out on my own with calming vibes that kept me focused.

Simple and cute puzzle game with a gorgeous and relaxing atmosphere. I really enjoyed being immersed in this little game world and forgetting about my real life problems for a moment to focus on collecting beautiful shells and listening to the waves. I love the beach in real life and collecting random do-dads and trinkets and this came pretty darn close to the real deal while also keeping my mind active during fun puzzles.

Seashell is a quaint game to be beloved by beachcombers. The controls are simple, the graphics are clean, and the soundtrack is akin to white noise so I never minded its looping. The puzzles to unlock the achievements and goals were easy to solve, especially if you noticed the clues, but they weren't so easy that I was bored. Even when the achievements are completed, I see myself returning to this game as a point-and-click anxiety manager where I can make arbitrary goals for myself. Overall, Seashell does well at capturing beachcombing as a pastime where you must pay attention to find what you're after while also allowing your mind to wander and meander down the coast. This is a great game for all ages, and with the added facts about the shells, it would be a great educational game for the family. The one feature that I wished was present was a collection showcase. There were shells I really enjoyed and didn't want to let go of after logging, so it would have been fun to arrange my shells in a display of some kind. Perhaps even visiting the collections of friends too?

Absolutely delightful experience. I wasn't expecting much from it, but the gotta catch 'em all aspect and the light puzzle elements are such a genius combination here; rather than getting bored and exiting the game, I had my eyes peeled for certain kinds of shells, and I was determined not to quit until I got 100%. It was quite a peaceful hour and a half, and my only wish is that it was even longer! Definitely worth your time and money, especially if you need to decompress.
