Finding Ice

A short, exploration/walking simulator game, where you wander through increasingly devastated set pieces to find your family. The voice acting is really good. The story could use a little tweaking here and there. The "twist" is obvious and lacks teeth. The arctic wolf is pretty cool and the environments are very pretty to run through. Another small issue is the store description in that it says there are puzzles and npcs to interact with. It should just explain that it is a narrative driven walking simulator where you are an arctic fox. I really loved playing Finding Ice! The game is beautiful and the story is well-written and narrated. The audio is crisp and clear. 5/5 Great Game!

This game sends a strong message which I like. Like another review posted for this game said though, the ending is a bit rough... I do understand its message though. One thing can be said for certain about this: it doesn't beat around the bush when it comes to climate change.

Finding Ice is a relaxing multi-level open world experience with a meaningful and impactful message behind it. The gameplay is smooth, the story is easy to follow, the soundtrack is memorable and soothing, the visuals are crisp and the level design is remarkable. I would highly recommend taking the time to play through the game from start to finish.

i would highly recommend this game because it is so much fun to explore the beautiful landscapes and find out the emotional path of a single creature in this day and age. It is a heart wrenching story that made me stop and think about the effect i was having on the world and the effect this was having on other living creatures very well made game and enjoyed every second of playing it

Regardless of why it's made and what it stands for, the game itself is a fun unique little game that I thoroughly enjoyed.

For one of the first games pushed publicly on steam by this developer I think it shows a large amount of promise. I know the developer is committed to sustainable change and this game, including its donations upon purchase, are a way for them to make change. For this reason alone I have to support this game. In regards to gameplay, I think that the game has a clear message which it effectively delivers. Personally, I would like to see any future games by this developer involve a more "hands on" active gameplay experience, as I found the game quite passive, in the sense that I was watching someone else's story instead of telling my own. To summarise, despite some shortcomings in regards to gameplay, Finding Ice is an impressive, quality game designed to deliver an emotive message to its audience.
