reminds me of a few games and is fun making an overpowered character only thing is after a lil bit i crash but still a fun party and solo game
If this game gates any support and Multiplayer outside of local play is made I can see this game being a blast of a time. also adding new items, bosses, enemies that would be great. Sadly it appears this game has been left to dry for some time now and so unless it gets a new revive and leaves the "early game phase" I will probably not be playing this again. It is still a fun game but I cant figure out how to make the multiplayer work and with an entire character locked behind this fact makes it frustrating. As for what I rate this game, If it stays in its current state 7/10, if it is revived and what I mentioned gets helped and more variety is added, 9/10. This game has a lot of potential but sadly information regarding it is currently difficult to come by.
I was willing to ignore how much this game copies from Risk of Rain 1 originally but man is it a bad copy (and a mediocre game in general), the balance is all over the place, enemies are boring and repetitive, the potion system (arguably the only thing that is not copied from RoR1) is clunky and also useless most of the time, it lacks updates, platforming and vertical movility is awful...there's really nothing good I can say about this game. The most annoying aspect is that they reused RoR's character kits, enemy designs, stage designs, items, etx. and still managed to come out with a game that's objectively worse and doesn't even add anything new. If you already played RoR1 wait for RoR Returns, if not...stick to RoR1, this isn't worth it.
it's good game. expands on mobility in a way that feels empowering, with level design that requires precision to tackle. big fan
.
If you're a fan of RoR1, you'd 100% enjoy this game. ONLY downside is that the game has seen no updates in about a year, so keep that in mind.

Seals of the Bygone is an excellent fast-paced 2D roguelike. You're thrown into the first level with random skills, and have to form your combat style around them, even if they don't work well together at all. For me, I had one melee attack, one ranged attack, a bizarre "jump then fire barrage down" attack, and a dash. After a few minutes of trial and error, I eventually got pretty consistent with these moves and made my way through the first few bosses. The upgrade / loot system is very simple (get coins, open chests), but frankly that's all you'll be able to handle since there's always enemies coming at you. New waves of enemies are unlocked via a timer at the top. Whilst you can hide away and get a brief respite, the enemies will still be spawning and making their way to you. This encourages a frantic playstyle of never stopping, always killing enemies. The boss fights are challenging yet predictable, and encourage learning attack patterns. Towards the end of my run I unlocked an active item, which I found too awkward (hold B, tap right) to actually use. Whilst these active items do increase the complexity, I'm not sure if they're convenient enough to use. Looking through the compendium, there seems to be a decent variety of items to use, although most of their effects are fairly typical (+X% melee damage, chance to set enemy on fire, etc). I suspect the rarer ones might be a bit more interesting and unique. Overall this is a solid early access game, and I'll definitely be coming back to it for another few runs, although I might wait until the "Compendium update" is out.
Seals of the Bygoneis a 2D platformer rpg game where you play as a hero from a wide selection of roles from knight, to fire mage and more as you travel across world where you use your skills and weapons to fight your way through hoarded of enemies from skeletons, goblins and slimes. Till you finally encounter a boss that you have to defeat in order to pass onto the next realm. Graphics- Alright Soundtrack- Good Audience- Teenagers and adults Difficulty- alright Story- Somewhat of a story Game time- It's got a okay length Price- Its abit pricey for what you get 7/10
