Посмотрев трейлер, ожидаешь крутую насыщенную событиями анимешную историю-мультик, но по факту это в первую очередь простенькие гоночки, разбавленные примитивно анимированными диалогами. История супер затянута и как таковой красивой мультипликации в следствие этого очень мало. Могли бы половину игры вырезать и сделать всё намного компактнее и ярче. Геймплей - хорош. Музыка пойдет , саундрек в концовке - огонь, как и сама концовка, которая вытягивает общую оценку в положительную сторону.

Non un brutto gioco, ma mediocre se considerate aspettative e potenziale. La storia risulta noiosa e tirata per le lunghe. I dialoghi rallentano il tutto e spesso risultano anche abbastanza imbarazzanti: banali per un pubblico adulto, volgari per uno minore. Il sistema di guida può risultare macchinoso e per quanto cambi lo scenario in sottofondo, anche le piste sono abbastanza tutte simili. Qualcuna ha qualche tornante in più ma poco cambia dall'una all'altra. La personalizzazione delle auto è estremamente banale, e anche molto limitata. In sintesi: divertente inizialmente, ma stanca anche abbastanza rapidamente. Giochino che non consiglio a nessuno a prezzo intero. Può risultare divertente per 20€ per una serata tra amici...

Tough, with a decently high barrier to entry thanks to mechanics and unusual control style, yet incredibly unique, fun and addicting, with an interesting and shockingly expansive story mode with a ton of lovable characters. Screamer is one of the most unique and greatest arcade racing games to release in the past decade, and definitely one of the most overlooked in the genre in general. Already my favorite game to release in 2026 and setting an incredibly high bar.

great gameplay, coming from one that doesn't like racing games

I really like the gameplay a lot! Last time I had so much fun while playing an arcade racing game was Blur. I'm currently still doing the story which I really like too! The sense of speed in this game is amazing and I really like the two stick usage in this game for drifting. The only bad thing about this game is that the multiplayer is kinda dead. The devs released a rank mode but no one plays it and if you want to play the casual multiplayer races, same story. It will put you in an empty lobby or sometimes a lobby with only 3 people including yourself, that's such a shame honestly. I wish more people would play the multiplayer mode but it is what it is. EDIT: On weekends I noticed that you can find better lobbies on multiplayer! I was happy to see a lobby of 16 players yesterday!

아니 이거 레이싱 자체는 괜찮은데 은근 렉도 있고 꽤 어려운 편이기도 하고 뭔가 스토리가 꿀노잼임 주인공이 딱 정해진게 아니라 뭔 애들 하나하나 다 돌아가며 전부 다 다른 언어로 쭝얼거리니까 한놈한테 집중도 안 되고 좀 정신사나움 아무튼 레이싱 자체는 괜찮습니다 특유의 시스템도 있고 스피디 하고....

Bought it because Screamer 2 was my very first racing game. Or at least the first I have recollection of. It isn't like the old Screamers game. In that the old Screamer were Ridge Racer clones on a budget. This Screamer is more inspired, and wants to be the classy reinvention of the license with an auteurist art direction. It probably is the closest thing you'll ever see to a Hideo Kojima or Yoko Taro racing game. Which is a good thing. I really love the fact that there is a story mode that certainly isn't just a pretext. The characters are surprisingly likeable, especially the "villains". The Cyberpunk-with-a-racing-twist setting is pretty interesting as well, especially when it goes out of his way to explain why Yakuzas would race PMCs and rocket scientists in exploding magic cars, or why they hired native Flemish speakers to portray the big bad nepobaby and his mother. (I still can't wrap my head around the fact that Dutch and Belgians are always bad guys in fiction ...). As for the gameplay itself. It is strangely satisfying for an arcade game, but needs an adaptation period, as well as requiring a controller (ideally, one with haptic feedback like a Dualshock 5 : it really adds a lot to the immersion, considering those maniacs modelled the feeling of gear-shifting on the acceleration ...). The right stick handle the drifting, while the left stick is used for adjustments. This has its importance, considering the wild differences in handling between the Idols Team's/"SFR" JDM drift cars, and the big bad megacorpo/"Anaconda Corp" german cars ... To a corgi driving a cyberpunk Golf GTI (This one doesn't make sense, though. Seriously ... How does he do that without opposable thumbs ?). And that is the easiest part to grasp, because each car/pilot has its own perks on top of that handling, ranging from faster takedown charging (yes, there are burnout-style takedowns, and yes, they make sense within the game's universe. Or at least, you get a bunch of scientists trying to make sense of it. And it's a strangely compelling story arc.) to an ingame rating system for your driving rewarding you for not kissing the guard rails ... In case you think the game is too easy as is. Yes, it has replayability. And a lot of it, although I'm more a story-kind of player, and haven't tested the arcade mode that thoroughly. The biggest downside I'd have for the game is its price, sadly. It's a tough sell at full price considering its highly unorthodox proposition, even though I'd still recommend it if just to support a struggling developper : there is a demo you can try to make up your mind, and I wholeheartedly encourage you to test it. For 30-ish bucks, however ? Go for it. it's definitely worth it !
