Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Latest in each market: best RU #94, worst PL #97 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 33.43/day in the week to Sep 1 → 32.86/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

When I first got this game over 10 years ago it was just a very bare bones sandbox game. Now if feels like a proper survival game with an objective. Highly recommended if you are a fan of the game Grounded.

Out of nowhere, the 1.0 release of Scrap Mechanic is awesome. Lots of improvements in core gameplay loop, qol and polish, and then a ton more content (including a new second half of the game that goes away above and beyond what I would have expected).
THIS GAME COOL :)
I liked the game when it came out but it had not much contents, so i try 6 years later and i played for 10min and uninstall it for a simple reason : i play on azerty keyboard, so i switch the control to ZQSD instead of WASD. So far so good but i discover that i couldnt run and straff left, and if stay too long on left straff i stay stuck on straffing left and can't stop it anymore. So i reset the control and try Alt+Shift to change my keyboard to english and qwerty, but the game doesnt accept the shorcut. You had 6 year to patch this seriously....this will be the last time i try the game and i am deeply disapointed.
I've always loved this absolute masterpiece of a game, the only downside being having to wait years for an update. But HOLY, the Drilling Thunder update was worth the 6 years of waiting. It added an actual storyline, so many new things to try and discover. I can safely say that I strongly recommend this game and it's a must try. I first discovered this game through YouTube, watching STAMSITE playing it, and I remember thinking it looked like such a fun game to play and mess around in. Years later, I can safely say it has lived up to that impression. The amount of creativity this game allows is honestly insane. Whether you want to build massive machines, ridiculous vehicles, automated farms, or just mess around with friends, there is always something new to create. The new story mode also gives you an actual reason to explore the world and experiment with all the new things. After spending so many hours in this game, I still find myself coming back to it just to build something completely stupid and somehow make it work. There are definitely some rough edges and the wait between major updates can be painful, but when an update this big finally drops, it makes it all worth it. It's kinda understandable though, considering the devs have been making their own game engine all by themselves since their original game engine was too limiting. So while the wait can be frustrating, it's also pretty impressive knowing just how much work goes into making a game like this. If you're even remotely interested in building, automation, survival games, or just games where you can let your creativity run wild, Scrap Mechanic is absolutely worth your money. 10/10 would spend another 6 years waiting for the next massive update.
