Save the Date

Very cool game. Hamza Nasir is my second favourite game developer to Hideo Kojima. Epic.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to play the game. Would love to give it a shot however upon starting the game I would get the opening cut scene, a loading screen, and then audio of a spaceship and a PA announcing a ship flying into a hanger with a black screen and no input from the controls outside of hitting the pause button and being able to navigate the pause menu.

As much as I hate to give out bad reviews, this game doesn't deserve a positive review. It's just broken. All of the hours I spent on this game were idle. I haven't been doing anything in this game because right after the intro cinematic, it has an infinite black screen that it never gets past. Usually things are fixable but this is the only broken steam game that has no solution. I'm sure if I got to play the game, it might not be that bad but the thing is that I can't play this game because it doesn't want to work. So, I'd only recommend it if you're looking to increase your game library count. Unfortunately, you won't get much out of this game. But I hope they fix it one day.

Игра "Save the Date" – это необычный и очень короткий визуальный роман (или даже интерактивная новелла), которая цепляет своей уникальной концепцией. Суть в том, что вас зовут на свидание, и вы… умираете. Много раз. Каждое ваше действие, каждая реплика ведёт к трагическому финалу. Игра построена на принципе "учись на ошибках" и даёт возможность прожить множество разных сценариев, чтобы наконец-то пройти свидание успешно. Графика простая, но стильная, а музыкальное сопровождение создаёт приятную, хоть и немного тревожную атмосферу. Самое главное – это диалоги. Они забавные, остроумные и полны неожиданных поворотов. Юмор здесь чёрный, и это добавляет шарма происходящему безумию. Игра может показаться короткой и даже немного бессмысленной, но её главная ценность – это эксперименты и поиск нестандартных решений. Любителям необычных и ни на что не похожих игр, а также ценителям чёрного юмора, "Save the Date" придётся по вкусу. Это не просто игра, это маленький, но запоминающийся опыт.
