Meet Sousuke. He's just your average student, living in a rural town. Ever since his father remarried when he was young, he's been living together with his little sister Nanaru. Together with his childhood friend Maho and their other friends, they have fun geeking out in the Otaku Club.

It's very funny at times, has top tier facial expressions and some pretty good music but its not without some problems. It actually does the Love Triangle aspect pretty well and each route has the 'loser's reaction in a way that can be pretty well done. But after the confession the routes kinda just devolve into an H scene marathon where the MC becomes twice as much of a pervert and the game doesn't really seem interested in developing the actual relationship past that. This is especially egregious in Shiina's route which just ends randomly and even the epilogue feels unfinished. Maho/Nanaru > Suzu > Shiina
sankaku renai is a solid visual novel. This VN has one of the most out there humor ive ever read in a visual novel. Its incredibly funny with it's fourth wall breaks, references and really ultilizes the fact that it it-elf is a eroge to deliver its humor. The translation is fine for the most part. They do a good job of conveying the meaning of the jokes from the original japanese text. However some of the jokes really just are lost in translation. which is a shame becuase they use really clever japanese word play in alot of their jokes. when translated in english I found them to land flat in comparasion. for me the stand out route in this game was definitely Suzu's. her route was incredibly sweet and at the same time her inner conflict was compelling. when I was playing nanaru's route later on it really broke my heart seeing Suzu sad over losing. overall this visual novel is a solid pick for those looking for a fun eroge that doesnt take itself to seriously. its humour being its stand out feature.
A cada rato rompían la cuarta pared xD, y a veces me daba pena ajena porque me identificaba con algún personaje y su cuestionable accionar djskdsjk, está muy bueno, recomendado. Pdta: Shiina the best waifu por goleada.

Most ''old'' visual novels dont run on new PC's, this one does work. *though i wanted to play other but it kept closing without warning.
women!
Sankaku Renai: Love Triangle Trouble is hilarious, beyond over the top and has a few really cute moments. I have not laughed nearly as hard or as often at I think any other piece of media. The TL is extremely localized, so not all lines are "100% accurate" but the gist of the lines are preserved. It is a case of DR v3's Miu: some of the lines are actually way funnier than the original Japanese; in fact, I'd say a lot of them this is the case. I'm not even a fan of love triangles but I think this one does them decently enough. The main 2 love interests have really boring stories, I was disappointed by them (Maho and Nanaru). However, the ancillary love interests have some really powerful moments (Shiina and Suzu). Routes are split into 2 paths, with 3 subpaths in each. Path A is the Lovers path, and Path B is the Sisters path. There is a step sister and an actual blood sister in this one so there's actual incest which is pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, and it's annoying how the dramatic writing for her route is probably the best of any of the others. The bonus characters in this one kinda suck. However, I cannot recommend this to anyone but hardcore VN/anime fanatics. The humor is extremely niche and meta, it is kinda a satire of VNs at points. There are so many 4th wall breaks it's ridiculous. However, unlike Koikari, the humor lasts the entire VN and persists throughout all the routes. So even if you don't really care about the love interest or stories, if you like the humor of the first 2 hours, you'll have the humor to look forward to throughout. Normally I wouldn't set this review to recommended due to how I would be unable to recommend this to any of my friends out of how niche it is and the inclusion of an actual incest route, but after thinking about it, the satire aspect of this VN actually brings it to a level of competency and artistic merit that I feel comfortable with recommending it... barely.
Nanaru is the best. There's stuff that made me groan, but some bits are really good. Overall it's a really funny otaku comedy.
Solid VN that takes place in rural Japan for a nice change of pace. Very lighthearted with plenty of fourth wall breaking that somehow works well. Features a double whammy of sister routes with Suzu(best girl) and Nanaru the stepsister(second best girl) followed by an eroge-addicted slightly hyperactive weird girl who desperately wants into the protagonists pants. Also a childhood friend who rejected him previously, but she's kinda dull so lets ignore her. There's also two side routes with BL loving Akane and the foreigner Cara, but those are just h-scenes packed together over 30 minutes. Filled to the brim with comedy but lacks any real main story line, which is fine, everyone's here for Suzu anyway right? Right. Sankaku Renai's localization is in a really weird place, it's not censored but very very very americanized with references to among other things, Walmart, Dr. Phil, Scholastic, Whatsapp and a bunch of others. Despite that the localization managed to be good with scenes flowing nicely and jokes landing consistently. Whether that's an acceptable thing or not is up to personal belief, but I would strongly recommend powering through it.
