Raramente se vê um jogo de terror que não necessariamente precisa de susto pra se sustentar, é sobre atmosfera e imersão, esse é o medo de verdade. 10/10 me caguei senhores.

Old dated game from ages ago. Probably not worth it for most modern players if you're not trying to enjoy nostalgic scares. Without a doubt it would have been an extremely creepy game back then. No fights or monsters but the eerie movement of textures and atmosphere still somewhat make it creepy. I ended up doing the room with stone faces last and give it a 10/10 for horror effect even now. The feeling of the faces watching you and chasing you after you pick up the red orb as you try to escape is amazing. The turning around to see familiar places changed and having no choice but to advance in those directions to find a way out. This whole level was a perfect finish to the game (tho there was the ending where the sanguine entity descends after this), due to lacklustre game-play of the previous content I ended up severely underestimating this part so was pleasantly surprised.
One of the longer games from prolific low-poly horror from Modus Interactive. A surreal game that resembles the wonderful aesthetics of early PS1 games, it is viscerally enjoyable and shows Modus' level of experience in creating atmospheric environments that call out to be explored.
This unique title offers an unconventional gaming experience that may not appeal to all players. The game features an impressively crafted, unsettling atmosphere enhanced by dynamic visual effects, including shifting textures and fluid movements throughout the environment. The distinct art direction is particularly captivating, with certain levels evoking memories of the surreal installations at Swarovski Kristallwelten, reminiscent of my childhood visits to the crystal museum.
Basically what i dream every night. love it
A surreal exploration game about feeding an unknown horror. The thing I enjoyed the most about this were the striking and sometimes surprisingly beautiful visuals, given the overall theme. Your character will enter a variety of bizarre landscapes in search of sacrifices for the creature holding you there. The puzzles for acquiring each sacrifice are easy, and since you can't really die, you can concentrate on exploring freely and not stressing out. The atmosphere is wonderful. Sound effects are not overbearing, and there are no jump scares. Again, everything is set up for you to enjoy the ride instead of dreading what's going to pop up around the next corner. Runs like a dream. Didn't notice any bugs, glitches, lag, frame rate issues, etc. Recommended for indie horror geeks, adventure fans, and casual players alike.
This is an odd duck of a game! While the "puzzles" don't really make any logical sense, poking about the fever dream landscapes evokes a morbid wanderlust that kept me moving, even when I got stuck and had to look up a video walkthrough. Sanguine Sanctum is more of an interactive art piece than a video game, so I would go in with the expectation that it is about the journey, not the destination. If you are keen to soak in your surroundings and not concerned with what is being accomplished, you will enjoy this experience.
