I loved the game, but even with the latest update i found it very grindy, i installed unsalted mod, keeps the enemy difficulty, reduces the grinding by a whole lot and relbalnceds wepons so all weapons are viable in builds, it made the game so much more fun i played it 3 times (atleast 90 hrs), wont mind coming back to try out otherr wepon builds. there was also a mod that increases the brightness(sadly i dont remember which, some shading mod), hence only 15 percent of the areas are super dark, i know purists would comsider it blasphemy, but playing without a map, in a dark area, not being able to see the platforms duroing combat chaos wasnt my idea of a fun time. These are just my prefernces to make it a hard but balanced game

绝佳的2D魂游，各方面都很有“魂”味：略高的死亡惩罚，严格的体力管理，精妙的地图设计等。 战斗部分，各个武器的攻击模组打磨得很好，但是部分boss的出招过于粪，尽管快慢刀较少，但是有些招的判定范围过大，经常因此误判滚不开。 探索部分，盐魂的地图设计很好，四通发达，而且学习了银河恶魔城的地图设计模式，加了一些技能锁，让玩家在中后期也能有兴趣探索前期的地图。尽管没有小地图，但是各个地区的美术都比较有辨识度，不太容易迷路。不过跳跃的手感有点怪，加上有很多跳跳乐关卡，摔死的话经常要365里路，这点比较烦。 总体可以给到夯，在2D魂游这一领域上，甚至可以说无人出其右。 如果你通关了空洞骑士还有丝之歌，那这游戏绝对是一个不错的代餐。
