Yeah movement mechanics can be unreliable but you know what the vibe is so immaculate and the bountiful dreamscapes makes this game so worth it
this game is a awfull platformer in the sense of actively expecting perfect platforming from the player with its awfull physics, sometimes unresponsable imputs and platforming unfriendly map design. but by any means do i love this game for everything else, this is a treat to explore. beatifull and stunning visuals, amazing music, perfectly absurd humor. and the ending (that even with the baby mode enabled will take a bit of time and exploring ) is just totaly worth it. this game is huge and even with everything seen and explored i wish for more and still belive to not have found everything sally can´t sleep is from the vibe the creativity and experience the definition of underated and i love and adore everything about it

This is an unusual one, equal parts sh*tpost and game but ends up being very charming. Exploration and atmosphere were the best parts by far, the ambiance of the main city level with the Telegraph Lullaby song sold me to play through to the end. Looking forward to see what else this dev comes up with
Amazing Game Atmosphere is top-notch and really tickled my Neurons. Controls were tough to get a grip on at first but it became smooth sailing after some learning and getting a couple Upgrades. Secrets were fun to find and i cant stop listening to the soundtrack (Damn i need more music like this in my life)
weird game, almost hard for me to judge in some ways. it can be weirdly unforgiving and it's very easy to get lost in but it has a very distinct vibe to it and it's a pretty successful fusion of lsd dream emulator and mario 64, as good as you could probably expect that combo to be. assist mode means you'll never get stuck in too much of a jam anyway so if you just want to wander its strange environments that's not hard to do if you suck at its esoteric movement and platforming mechanics. it sticks in my head enough that after not touching it for a while i came back just to wander in it a little bit again so i've got nothing too bad to say.
It feels like there's something good here but it needs more polish. There's a physics glitch where if you jump at just the right moment while you walk off a ledge the your jump will get massively boosted. I don't think the timing required for this is frame perfect, but it's not easy. Many of the challenges are built with this glitch in mind. For example, one of the first challenges in the game is to race to the end of a course in 15 seconds. Without the glitch this is impossible and with the glitch you just barely have enough time if you do it perfectly. There are some easy challenges, but the hard ones are absolutely brutal. The upside, from what I've seen, is that you don't need to complete the challenges in order to keep moving through the game. However, the challenges give you feathers when completed so don't expect to finish without grinding through them. The grinding isn't just limited to the challenges. One area had me enter by dropping down from a giant pipe and a fan at the bottom would be how you backtrack to the previous area. Unfortunately, the fan doesn't launch you high enough unless you hit the sweet spot. I spent 5 - 10 minutes trying to get back up that pipe. Stylistically the pipe is cool but functionally it could just be a door, so I don't see why the fan can't just boost you high enough to begin with. Overall, the game is very charming but some of the game design decisions are questionable. It's a solid 7/10.
As a user of psychedelics from time to time. and being kinda obsessed with weird and unusual types... this game reminded me of LSD Sim, Having never played it.. I had to play this one.. cause it looked night.... it's a decent adventure through multiple lands.. and well it sadly currently has my head in a bind... I AM LITERALLY LOST IN THE MAINFRAME... I must recommend it as it is a weird journey... still haven't gotten all the feathers.. and really I think it might take people a long time with some if their patience wanes thin... unless.. you're like me trying to play this at 2 am as the body is shutting down and you attempt to find a checkpoint to save the game... but you couldn't cause the checkpoints for saving are spread out and you're now lost and getting dizzy from turning your head 360 degrees.. only to get lost again.
playing this game feels like trying to play mario 64 without a game manual when you were 6 in the 90's. like there's all this cool tech, but you're gonna forget it all after the tutorial because a lot of it wont come up for a while in the 1st few levels. on top of that, seems like you really need to edge boost, but it's annoying and inconsistent. feels like a game you need to just play a lot to get good at and get good at edge boosting, but I don't want to do that because the levels are just like too big and open and I get tired of them real fast. most levels it seems like the only feather is like some silver stars ♥♥♥♥, but it wont be 5 pieces to make a feather, it'll be like 12 a lot of the time and after a few big worlds, you just go, nah. after I reached a dead end and realized I'd have to go back through these worlds, I also was like nah and was done with the game. liked the random sound effect and monkey picture options. hated some of the edgy forum poster stuff mixed in, gotta keep the good ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and ditch the bad ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. dev's next game seems to have mostly done that.
funny game, good for people who like platformers (I do not) love he atmosphere I just struggle too much even on assist :")
