Holy peak I love this games. They have the fripple and the norm jone AND the spirits. The humour in all these games and dialogue never ceases to keep me entertained and the art styles that differ between them all are so cute! I also made the credit song to prof cripple but that’s besides the point
There is something so charming about these three games and I strongly recommend them to anyone who's curious about them. My favourite is Norman Jones. Humor, story, setting; it's perfect to me. I love all the different environments and jokes. They all just land! Professor Fripple is really interesting visually due to the limited pallet, although can be a bit challenging. Poor Fripple... Miodesopsia is a stunning story with a few good horror elements. I really do think this story alone is worth checking out.
I love the abstractual aesthetic of these games a lot! The free exploration for the second and third game reminds me a lot of Yume Nikki, a very abstractual horror rpg game where you're left to your own devices to kind of explore the world. It definitely gives old school RPG maker horror vibes, except I wouldn't say these are horror, moreso mystery and intrigue as all the strange little creatures exist and live in this world. I think if you're a fan of those old RPG maker games like Yume Nikki, OFF or Re:Kinder with really cool and unique artstyle, this is definitely for you! Each of the three games gives it own unique flavour of story for you to try, so there's definitely at least one in there that you will gravitate towards if not all! Highly recommend giving this go.
You like Quirky RPGMaker games? this collection is for you! Norman Jones' has great writing and jokes, a lot of exploration , and plenty of endings. I strongly recommend you play it first. Professor Frippel's has the most challenging fights and puzzles out of the three, as well as a lot of variety in areas and mechanics. Miodesopsia stands out from the other two, due to its heavy tone and topics. It features a lot of walking and several differents endings,( if you plan on find all of them, I recommend taking notes). I suggest you leave this one for last.
A fun, if absurd, time! Give it a shot, and maybe you can one day be the best salesman
i LOVE selling vaccuum cleaners in this fun collection of creative and wacky rpg maker games
Norman Jones taught me to LIVE, LAUGH, and SELL. Mostly SELL. And you should be SOLD on this collection. If you want to learn how to CAPITALISM buy this IMMEDIATELY.
All of the games here are all really charming and have really interesting stories as well. 10/10 would recommend
Great graphics and music. Also loved the menu screen and how interactive it was. Lots of charming qualities in this collection of games
Best enjoyed at a slow pace, a pixel art trip where every detail is carefully crafted.
