Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Saccharine Echo has an interesting premise and lots of potential, but it is very short and the big reveal at the end is very disappointing. There is a lot of buildup leading up to the reveal, but it's very anticlimactic and the game ends almost immediately after. There's about 2 different choices that actually impact the end of the game, so most of the choices you make feel pretty pointless. I love dating sims and visual novels and I was very excited to play this game, but the story was just unsatisfying. I think the pacing of the story was also not great. The ending is very abrupt. I will say that the art is absolutely beautiful though. I just wish I got more satisfaction out of the story.
I'm mad that I don't love this game.. The art is so beautiful and the concept is very promising, but this is not a finished game and certainly not one that should cost this much. The game is way too short and way too fast paced, when you reach the end on either endings it feels incredibly incomplete and confusing. There's no build up and the writing can't handle the heavy topics it want to portray with the main character Alice. The choices are also very minimal with two endings with very little change. The game also have quite some odd glitches with choices not showing and the phone being on the screen where it shouldn't. I try my best to be so constructive with my review as possible, because this is obviously the developers first game. I will definitely keep a lookout for more of their future games, because the concept is there and the artistic level is fantastic. But this game would had benefited being a free visual novel on itch.io or having a longer development with more polishing.

I really enjoyed it and I believe it's important to support smaller artists and developers! The art style is great and the story kept me curious throughout. Only wish it was longer. Please make more games! 🌟
I enjoyed it! Short and sweet along with beautiful art and an interesting story. Unique love interests are always nice, and I also really really liked Dinah for other reasons beyond that. Their design and personality were great and although it might not be the healthiest I enjoyed the relationship/dynamic between them and Alice. Alice was also a really solid protagonist, I liked her a lot too and loved the glimpses we got into her life prior to the game starting. The pixel art was the cherry on top. I do wish we got to see a couple more romantic [strike](and adult)[/strike] moments between the two and I'd love to see more of them in the future but I'll be keeping my eye out for the next Neverliss project no matter who it ends up being about. One criticism I have is that despite the game being a visual novel the UI lacks some quality of life buttons like backlog (right click) + skip (Z) + and auto (Q). These are accessible through your mouse and keyboard but I don't think everyone is aware of the shortcuts. Quick save and quick load would've also been a nice touch but I understand some creators choose to forgo them for the sake of story flow etc, although I'm not sure if that applies in the case of this developer.
It's got a couple of small detail issues, mostly with lines being spoken by the wrong characters. It's also quite short, I got both endings and read all the possible scenes in about 50 minutes, though maybe I just read fast. With all that said, I really liked this, and the premise and scenario presented gave me food for thought well after I finished the game, and that's one of my favorite things about games like this. I love toxic/unhealthy queer romance and I hope these devs continue making games like this (albeit maybe longer, pretty please?)
I'm not normally one for visual novels. But I'm glad to support an indie dev! Well done art, charming ambient sound design. Worth checking out!
For a first game, I really enjoyed this. I just wish it had been a bit longer so the tension and mystery around Dinah could be explored more deeply. The core idea is great, but the short length makes the story feel a bit underdeveloped and plain. However, the visuals and dramatic music definitely make up for it.
Short, but sweet. A bit too vague at times. 4/5 Scritches.
