this could have been one of my favorite games of all time, but the horrible performance really soured the experience. yes the performance issues really are that bad.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Incredible game. I didn't really know what I was getting into at first but honestly the music, art style, world building, biking mechanic, quests, movement mechanics and mask system are all absolutely fantastic. The music is super unique and immersed me much more in the game, I felt like I was in the bustling city of Eccria, or the vast sands of Sansee so it does a great job of making the game feel all the more real. The art style is great, very cartoony and nice to look at, makes the game feel much friendlier! One thing the game does excellently is world building; not only is the map itself incredibly satisfying to explore, making your way through each crashed ship part, secret cave or hidden side quest but the characters, dialogue and the story are really nice too. The story doesn't go into massive detail however, the game is much more about exploration and finding your own way, which I much preferred. You glide around on a bike which you can upgrade and call wherever you are which I really enjoyed, it made the world feel so much bigger yet you could still get around it and explore easily. Not only this, but movement mechanics off of the bike are satisfying too, I liked the climbing and 'gliding' mechanics as they made small scale exploration of certain areas feel like you were scaling a monument. The side quests are plenty and have you exploring the world and showing you awesome locations and having you explore unique mechanics made only for these quests, it's definitely a side quest kind of game and it feels very rewarding completing them. Finally, the mask system is very unique, I enjoyed gathering 3 of each specialised badge to unlock their masks, and exploring other ways to unlock them.. So if you are a fan of side quests and cartoony open world games that feel great to explore (and 100%), I would thoroughly recommend Sable. (I will admit that the full price is quite expensive, so I would wait for it to go on sale if you are thinking about buying the game.)
Quite a pleasure to play this game, but for a thing focused on exploration, its driving and climbing mechanics are too janky and lacking necessary polish. The worldbuilding is fantastic, and I'll stick to it for the time being.
Absolutely beautiful game and world building
"Heartbreak in the City" was the most exciting quest in the game when we discovered it, my wife and I went from bored on the couch to sitting straight up & debating the evidence, we scoured the city to look for the pieces that were missing, we just KNEW this game had an answer that tied it all together. No, no it does not. Not only is it completely open ended, but the guard doesn't arrest anyone, he berates you for trying to extrapolate on the crumbs it gives you, and thats it. Heartbreak in the City is a microcosm of Sable as a whole, a game designed for aimless wandering with no point, that parrots Breath of the Wild while berating you for expecting it to expand on that inspiration in any way. I'd call it style over substance, though frankly the style is often so illegible and bland in places that saying its style is over anything is deeply misleading. This game doesnt just suck, it sucks in such a way that it genuinely offends me. It's beyond bland, its insulting. Hugely disappointing.
Wonderful experience that reminded me of my first time playing Death Stranding, Shadow of the Colossus, and Breath of the Wild. I had a blast exploring the world! I hope the devs get all of the funding they would ever need to make a follow up, or another IP. Happy Gliding to all those who try this masterpiece!
I vibe with authors' vision. Worlbuilding of deserts, loneliness, exploration of the world and the self, many good ideas were put here. Sable is a bad, bad, crappy game tho. On a technical level, Sable sucks, heating my laptop, lagging. On a technical-cinematographical level, there are many absurd cuts, and glitched animations during story moments. On a storytelling level, Nothing happens. I don't feel like Sable is learning anything. On a gameplay level, everything this game is is boring exploring of empty desert, and stupid fetch quests. On a graphical level, though I like the art style and playing with colour palettes, world is empty and without any detail. Sable is one of these games that should've been released a couple of years later, sadly.
好玩,好看,出了新手村全世界都是你的
While the game had nice moments, overall, I wouldn't recommend it. There were simply too many issues and bugs that broke my immersion, which is baffling for a game that was released years ago. It felt unpolished. The framerate drops make the game unplayable at times. Hitboxes are unpredictable, and combined with lack of depth perception due to the cell shading this leads to frustrating moments when jumping and climbing. Mini cutscenes are unskippable (especially looking at you, chum eggs), no options to wait/progress time in-game. That's just a few things that kept me from really enjoying the game. I did enjoy the sense of exploration and most quests, though.
