Sable's Grimoire: A Dragon's Treasure

Good game

a great mini sequel to a great visual novel

I have funny situation, when I like Lisha as character, but find story around her boring, and then I dont like Drakan and then all this story around her is my favorite piece of the game, excluding Jorou. Its interesting, its mystical, shady and intense. I highly recommend this novel to anyone, who liked original, even if Drakan was not your favorite. SPOILER! P.S. Its funny how Sable is best dragongirl of the game himself.

Spoilers below for the Endings As one of the 17% of people who have completed the Bad Ending of this game. Don't. [spoiler]The other three endings allow you to get attached to the characters within very easily, along with leading up to the next part of the game. With some nice wholesome moments combined with the different challenges Sable faces, everything is done excellently. I decided to 100% the game. One of the characters involved in the Mid-Late story is Fafnir, a being born from Sable's blood. Their relationship is well written. In the Bad Ending, she's killed, and Sable is left with all of her memories. Her passing words and the visuals brought me to tears. Don't 100% this game if you get attached to characters.[/spoiler] Aside from that, this game is amazing, mostly because I love Drakan and Sable with every fiber of my being. Also get the 18+, it's quite good. Edit: Game isn't dead! It's still getting updates, so trust me, it's a good idea to stick around!

A Dragon's Treasure is more of what made Sable's Grimoire good: serious consideration of the problems that people might have when dating outside their species, supported by thoughtful worldbuilding. If you liked the first game, you'll like this as well.

I don't know what it is about the Sable's Grimoire main Game and it's sequels, but for some Reason the world and the story of this game just speaks to me. The music is kinda repetitive and the character sprites aren't as expressive as they are in something like the Fate Visual Novels (though that might be a bit of an unfair comparision, considering Fate series production value). But despite that this is one of, my favorite Visual Novel ever, and I can't wait for more from this series.

This's real good. I like Drakan a lot, and this does a good job of exploring her character and background. The TF stuff is also neat.

Having spent over [b]16 hours[/b] in this [i]unforgettable spin-off[/i] to the [i]equally amazing base game[/i], I absolutely [i]fell in love with the world and its characters[/i].
