So Towertale is a decent boss battling game with cute animations and polished boss patterns. Most of the reviews already covered the main game so I would just like to point out the flexibility of the game. Not only does the game come in 3 difficulties, but also features an assist mode where you can increase/decrease stats such as player hp/dmg or boss hp/dmg to make battles easier or harder. It allows you to make bosses that are usually easy such as the Wolf (1st boss) provide a challenge or last boss which has some hard to dodge shots easier to deal with. Overall the effort put into the game gives a decent boss fighter game that I do recommend playing. Oh yeah and it only costs 6€, which is 10x less than todays steam pricing.
This game is amazing! One of the best games I've played in a long time. The characters are both lovable and cringey. You don't have to adventure like in other games, you just play the boss fights. Each boss fight is more difficult than the last and each character you play as can have ether an advantage or disadvantage against the Boss. I'll make your lives easier! - 4 playable characters (all different play styles) - Choices you make alter the game - Straight to the boss fights - Sometimes cringey but overall lovable characters - Art work is simple and cute - Nightmare Mode is exactly as it sounds Gameplay Nightmare Mode: https://youtu.be/ZKVLk8WKzuU Nightmare Mode Boss Fights: https://youtu.be/u4H7daCvXBU

GET THIS GAME NOW!!!! --------------------------- This is the first game on Steam I am writing a review for. The game is SOOO meta! I absolutely LOVED it, incredibly fun and challenging! The music is great, the art style is simple but awesome! I started with the demo before the release and played through as Lord Snicklefritz because obviously he's got the best name in the game! I jumped straight into Nightmare Mode and struggled on the first boss a little until I got used to the controls (I used Xbox controller, but I did remap some of the buttons). I didn't realize how spoiled I was picking Fritz first until I bought the game and played through starting with Lionel then the game was challenging. I like how you have to make adjustments to your fight style with each character. Faindrel is my favorite to play. Dark Echo on the other hand....oh boy, easily the most rage inducing character in the game! I really enjoyed the variety between the characters and in each boss fight! The story. This is where the game gets super meta. It starts off as an innocent story but then out of no where hits you heavy and deep with some thought-provoking and relatable dialogue, at least for me anyways. I can honestly say that I loved everything about this game! Developers did a phenomenal job with this gem! Only played through Story Mode so far but will definitely be going back for 100% Steam Achievements! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5f6j1bHnjs
This demo conquered my heart as well as my wallet. If you like soft rpgs and 2D fighting games you got what you wished for. I bought the game full price and felt great about it. Linux support is good and everything else is in check: lovely characters with their own silly moves and story lines.
I highly recommend giving this game a try if you enjoy 2D games or boss fights. The devs have been a pleasure to work with and have promptly fixed any bugs that were found. Each boss fight features unique mechanics and patterns that you have to learn and each character has their own set of attacks and abilities making each playthrough a new experience. The soundtrack is very well done and compliments the game and characters without being overbearing. The writing can be a bit cringe, but often in a hilarious way as long as you don't take it too seriously (and you shouldn't, because it doesn't take itself very seriously either) and the modern culture references are very amusing. All in all, a very entertaining and well done first game release by MiSou Games. I've had a blast playing and my viewers and I have had some great laughs with this game. It's an amazing value at this price and I'll be picking up a copy for my girlfriend as well.
a great fun little game, with lovely story and great boss rush mechanics. the combat controls feel a lot better than I imagined at first. just try out the demo and see for yourself (its basically the first 3 bosses)
İlk bakış için Şöyle kanalıma buyurun :) https://youtu.be/QwFYqbKaPZY
Симулятор разрыва жопы (nvm, прошёл фактически всех боссов (за исключением двух финальных в прохождении Эхо) за 3-4 попытки). Особенно, если играть после стрима Рекви.
Very FUN! Was waiting for them to add coop =) Totally recommend this game =) Hell if the loot gets added of some kind this would be even more epic =P Just saying!
