"Can you all say with certainty... that you are truly happy right now?" My first Yuzusoft title and also first real moege. Really beginner friendly imo since I'm one myself and I thought it was really good. The setting and vibe is the classic high school slice of life shenanigans but there are clear-cut goals throughout. Common route was pretty funny to me and the voice acting really helps it. Due to the nature of the game, don't expect it to be that serious or high-stakes. It kind of feels like a CGDCT that you just relax and play through for some laughs. Pacing wise some parts of the character routes may drag out a little but generally it's pretty okay. Not much to say since it really is just a 'feel good' game that you play for the vibes. That being said, Nene's route in particular was written considerably well compared to the rest of the game. The quality is quite a standout. A lot of QoL is available and there are hotkeys for almost everything you need. I'm learning Japanese right now at N4 and the language switch hotkeys were really nice. Soundtrack and visuals are decent, going for a cutesy vibe usually (though I LOVE the opening). The heroine routes were mostly good but some are definitely weaker than others. Also, I used the official steam patch for the game, and I really reccomend it too cus they're actually pretty well made. Also, Meguru is best girl, but Nene has the best route.

Finally completed all routes and here's all I could say; It was an amazing experience. Nene and Meguru are one of my most favorited heroines; Nene gives you a bittersweet but makes you pity for her actions and mistakes that you want to pat her head (and she's the heroine I loved the most), Meguru is your typical junior with cute honesty along with terrible grades but she's also a gamer which makes it better to be lovable. Kariya honestly have one of the best side character route even though this is my first VN with multiple routes, I just wish she has more of her route since it was quite short. Touko and Tsumugi are also good too but not as good as the other heroines since: Touko's route focuses about herself and the past while Tsumugi's route is mainly about her alp (at least from what I know). But it makes up for their appearance and personality. Overall I'm glad that I bought this as one of my first two Visual Novels I've read and I think you should give it a try as well.

Sabbat of the Witch was one of my first visual novels. Years later, it still holds up as one of the best I've read. The developer, Yuzusoft, is one of the most popular VN developers, and for good reason. They don't cut corners. The art quality is superb. The music is one of the best- even years after finishing the VN, the music still gets stuck in my head. They're great in terms of quality-of-life as well, with features such as a voice timer and dual-language support. (Their later VNs also include a flowchart system for easy route navigation, but sadly, it's not available here.) In terms of story, Yuzusoft VNs have a common theme of injecting supernatural elements into ordinary life, and exploring interesting dynamics that result from it. And of all their VNs I've read, this is probably their most successful attempt at such a premise. (It's kinda hard to explain why without spoilers, so you'll just have to see for yourself.) My only real gripe is that there's plenty of "generic harem anime cliche moments" as well, which is a shame, because the rest of the story is written so well. This is one of the most popular visual novels for a reason. Whether you're new to VNs or a veteran, I highly recommend giving it a try.

Decent characterisation and common route

Por fin me digné en terminar de jugar la novela, así que dejo mi reseña de mrd. Empezando por los dibujos y escenarios, como siempre por parte de Yuzu, están bien; me gustan. Las expresiones que pueden llegar a hacer las heroínas también me gustan, le dan un toque como siempre. Hablando de estas, no sentí que fueran tan de relleno; todas las rutas tuvieron su sentido y me gustaron. Obviamente tengo mis favoritas, que en este caso serían las de Nene y Meguru. La música que acompaña de fondo está bien, el OP me encantó y la canción que canta Wakana simplemente good. La historia tiene buen ritmo, llega a ser enganchante en algunos momentos aunque sí es algo predecible en algunas ocasiones, pero no me molesta. Al final son novelas casuales, así que es algo entendible. Recomiendo comprarla completamente. Puntuación: 8.5/10
