(edit, this was my first stalker game and i beat it on Master difficulty. and whilst it had its amazing, atmospheric moments that made me fall in love with the series, the final sequence in Lymansk and the hospital before streloks fight (which you can beat by save scumming with every gauss hit) is a bloody hell that i fear is worse then the zone itself. but still. 10/10 for the atmosphere and story, like a 3/10 for its janky ahh combat.) Та сама недооцінена гра по всесвіту S.T.A.L.K.E.R. У чистому небі є недоліки, їх видно неозброєним оком, але саме в цій частині я відчув баланс між перестрілками та сталкерством. Було приємно час від часу у перерві між стріляниною взяти детектор Велес і збирати артефакти, потім купити комбінезон Сева і лазити у більш небезпечні аномалії, знаходити більш рідкісні артефакти. Атмосфера та ембієнт на вищому рівні, а українська озвучка радує слух. Рекомендую до проходження.

I'm genuinely surprised this is considered "the bad game" in the series. I had more fun with it than SoC and CoP.

Stalker Clear Sky is rather well known as being the worst of the OG trilogy, and in all honesty that is a fair assessment, it had some interesting ideas in there, and in some respects it was actually an improvement over it's predecessor SoC, but it was so woefully undercooked that it ended up being a very frustrating experience to play through, does the enhanced edition change that? Short answer? no it does not. Long answer? The best way to play this game is to get the original and to download one of the community made patches, SRP is what I used back in the day and I remember having a decent amount of fun with the game afterwards. That is my recommendation, DO NOT play Clear Sky unless you are willing to go that extra mile, there is a fun game buried somewhere within Clear Sky, but it needs serious work to unearth it and overcome the frustrating and often times boring gameplay, only the community has put that work into it. This enhanced edition is not as painful to play as the original was that much is true, but the most egregious issues have carried over.
