A little buggy at times, but an interesting, moody and fascinating game nevertheless.
This is not a game about hurting things, even if you can get hurt. This is a game about finding things, collecting them, and using them for what they can do. It was worth playing, years ago, and is still worth playing--every now and then--today. It's an experience. People need experiences. It's a good experience.
The game is relaxing and simple to understand. I'd would give it a thumbs up and recommend it, except... THE GAME CONSTANTLY CRASHES AND RESETS! Fullscreen? Whenever you look at any other program or a program throws up a notification the games resets and you lose your run. Window mode? The game window even jiggles and *bam!* Reset. Notification? Reset. Resize window? Reset. Randomly fly too far? Reset. Check too many of your menus too fast? Reset. It's unbearable. If the Devs fix it. I'll change my review.
A different kind of space exploration roguelite
Most notably, RymdResa is focused on exploring space: the only violence done to and by you is as regards celestial rocks. Gradually, the game opens to you (as roguelikes do). More trancelike than meditative, and do we really need more space-ex roguelike/tes? Well, maybe one more.
One of those little games you play for the "Atmosphere" (in space, get it?) and not the gameplay itself. Artful, exotic and tasty.
Surprisingly engaging and atmospheric as far as this breed of chill games goes, with some gorgeous pixel art to boot; definitely worth a look if you're in the market for a game to disengage your brain to.
