An Airport for Aliens Currently Run by Dogs is an open-world comedy adventure game. Talk to stock photo dogs. Solve their problems. Catch your flight. And call it Dog Airport Game when you get tired of saying the full title, like I did three months ago.

I liked this game a lot initially, as the writing was quite entertaining and funny, but the bulk of the gameplay is just finding an item to bring to a dog. The various locales are fairly massive and it seems the task of finding the right item to deliver is tied to RNG, which at one point led to me needing to find the same item three times in a row to arrive at a different airport, further adding to the repetitive game feel. You can find energy drinks from vending machines to boost your movement speed temporarily, but it only lasts a short while. The hubs don't really have enough going on outside of the repeated item hunts to justify their huge size. The more time I spent with this, the less I wanted to play it. It's a shame.
it's a game where you explore airports with strange layouts full of more shops selling strange items than actual terminals to fly out of that don't even charge you anything because everything is run by friendly dogs who have no concept of currency and also you can pet them. all of the signs are written in an alien language that you cannot understand, unless you're dedicated enough to cross reference the shop names with the dogs' dialogue until you realize that it's literally just english in a font that doesn't resemble any english letters at all and make an entire key to read every single sign in the game like i did. the story is good, it made this the first game to make me cry because it made me think about love when i had never thought about love before, it made me realize how lonely i was back then, hah. it's a silly game that means a lot to me. shoutout stryxo for that one dog games video that showed me this game exists. oh and don't mind the low playtime, i switched steam accounts a while ago and haven't played much since then. i still have the same save data though. my original save is on day 1317, if that gives a good estimate of my actual playtime.
This is why gaming was invented.
Incredibly written game. To be honest, there isn't too much gameplay except for reading text and talking to dogs, but it's a beautiful peek into a weird and wonderful world created by the devs. This is, like, the positive side of Internet Brainrot. The music and visuals are similarly wacky. It's relatively short for its price, and doesn't have a lot of gameplay beyond the dialogue and characters, so play this to laugh at the funny words and tell your friends that "oh, this is marinara trench, where the liquid at the bottom is totally marinara sauce, and absolutely not blood, and the dogs make a great point of making this distinction, also, you have to grab something here to meet updog, who has ascended and is surrounded by tennis balls of unknown origin."
an airport for aliens currently run by dogs
A fun game for what it is. Has a lot of cute dogs, but I feel it got boring very quick and sometimes annoying to run to the time skip, but it is fine. I would love to be able to run faster though, that really made the game feel very slow at times. If you like simple fun games and dogs, I would recommend it, if not, probably not a game I could suggest
Did you like the absurdity of Jazzpunk? Do you like dogs? Do you like cats? Do you have the desire to buy a cabinet? Do you hate briefcases? Do you want to carry around the biggest cup of coffee you have ever seen before? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then this game is a must-own.
A funny, unique, and unexpectedly heartwarming take on the walking sim. Don't know of any other game like it
Cute DOGS!!! And a cute story.
Sometimes, a mood hits and this type of humour just gets me through so I stuck with it to the end. However, gameplay can be boring and tedious. luckily you can basically have infinite of an item so you don't really have to run around much and can just speedrun from check point to checkpoint if you just want to fast travel the story. But I liked hearing what everyone wanted to jabber on about so while my inventory was STACKED, I took my time a little bit. Does suck to cycle but if you hate fetch quests with a burning terrible passion, this is a option. Just gotta figure out which is the worse mechanic I guess. So I guess I'll give this a mild thumb's up. Cheers!
