First game on Steam that I could play on my potato. Best friend gifted it to me. I honestly love it, card game with a fantasy/magical twist. If you love card games, magic, and destroying your enemies, give this game a go!
I've tried this twice now, and both times enjoyed the first few hours and then got frustrated and quit. It's too random and the AI too aggressive for it to be sustainably fun. I will say that the style and concept are pretty good. If you get this on sale for over 50%, it might be worth your time to just check it out. Ancient Enemy and Shadow Hand are two decently-received games that also use classic playing cards for combat if you are looking for something similar.
It was ok...

I am done with this game. The computer is very aggressive. You can buy spells but event the basic ones are expensive. You can grind for more spells and silver but it such a slog and it gets really repetitive. I was able to get to the fourth pillar (the one with the lantern) and just couldn't beat it. I give up. There is no way to increase your health, which could have helped a bit with survival. Overall, not recommended, computer is too aggressive, gameplay is boring, repetitive, and slow. Although, the poker gameplay is different but not implemented in a fun way.
This was a surprisingly fun little game. Great if you just want to relax and kill some time. It's a card game, RNG is inherent in every card game but I never felt like it was unfair, though a lot of battles were won by the skin of my teeth. I probably beat the entire thing in 8 or so hours, some of my time in game was spent AFK. Worth picking up on sale.
The most boring card game imaginable, so repetitive.
Its okay
Interesting concept, but a very mediocre execution. In the beginning it seems interesting, but further along you discover that everything is very basic and there is not much meaningful progression in terms of gameplay, story or presentation. Gameplaywise its solitaire with poker combos that are used to damage the enemy, but the RNG and balancing dont allow you to do much, even with the use of special abilities. The story seems to have an interesting start, but is just dragged out later on. Its fine if youre listening to something in the background, but not that entertaining on its own merits. 4/10
Played for awhile than came back a week later and all my progress is gone. If your game does not have any kind of autosave system make that extremely clear from the beginning.
A slow pace game where you win battles by combining cards to make poker hands. Gets a bit draged out in the end as there is no change to the game. When you have won the first battle you have the idea of how the rest of the game is gonna be. :)
