Z ciekawego konceptu zrobiono monotonną i męczącą przepychankę.
Thorgrim:
Co was k.urwa pojebało?

OCENA: 4/10
PLUSY: ✔️ Grafika ✔️ Muzyka w menu MINUSY: ❌Siermiężna narracja ❌Siermiężna walka ❌Skopana komunikacja gracz - gra ❌Dużo kardynalnych błędów i mniejszych baboli
Film z mojej rozgrywki:
https://youtube.com/live/GNj788x4nwk

Zapraszam do obserwacji naszego kuratora: ŚWIAT RECENZJI
Publikacja recenzji także na sztab.com
I really tried... but I can't recommend this game. The menu's are rough, there's no information on what and how you can craft. I only figured out how to sell after seeing the store page pre-recording which also showed how to access team members abilities. It's hard to know what equipment you should be using. The battles are not fun and engaging... especially when you get to a very slow enemy and you have to repeat the same thing over and over. Do I think it had potential? Yes, I did want to understand the various paths that would explain the King, Queen, Alchemist, and even the father since there are hints, but the story and dialog are not great overall (there's a lot of bugs in the dialog as well). There's enough reasons to look elsewhere.
A fun game overall, but there are a few frustrating issues. During combat, the attack animations often interfere with matching crystals, which breaks the flow. There’s also a serious problem when using Crystal Awakening: if you trigger it during an animation, the game can softlock because only one crystal remains on the screen, and if you don’t have enough mana to activate it again, you’re stuck. Since there’s no option to escape from battle, you’re forced to restart the game. Besides that, the gameplay is enjoyable. And the most important question: when’s the hentai update?
fajna gierka, typowy klimat fantasy rpg.
Didn't get past the tutorial. Some of the most painfully horrible writing I've ever seen in a game, and good god is there a lot of it. Instant refund for any games that make you a captive audience to Vorgon fantasy fiction.
The game is addictive because match-3 is addictive. The problem is that it's still full of bugs. If this was an early access game, I'd give it a positive review; but, despite my many hours of play, I can't recommend it as a full game. There are things that get highlighted when you hover over them, but then clicking on them does nothing. There are clues that it seems you should be able to follow up on--but then, you aren't permitted. If you're on a quest, there's no way to check a journal to see what the quest requires. There are just so many holes and I see no indication that they're going to be addressed any time soon. If and when they are, I'll update my review.
Rune Ark is an ambitious genre hybrid that strives to merge match-3 combat, roguelite dungeon exploration, and a dark fantasy storyline into a cohesive experience, and for the most part it succeeds by embracing the strengths of each element without becoming overcomplicated. Developed by WelesGames and published by indie.io, the game frames its adventure through the perspective of a young squire thrust into a crumbling kingdom where ancient forces are reawakening. Your journey begins within the walls of a once-proud stronghold and quickly descends into the labyrinthine depths beneath it—a place where secrets, monsters, and remnants of forgotten magic intertwine. Rune Ark may present itself as a puzzle game on the surface, but its world-building and narrative structure give its mechanics a sense of greater purpose, anchoring each match in the larger fight to reclaim a kingdom teetering on the brink of ruin. The defining feature of Rune Ark is its match-3 combat system, which serves as the backbone of every battle and progression choice. Instead of button-mashing or commanding units, you attack, defend, and cast abilities by matching tiles on a shifting board. This gives each encounter the feel of both a tactical battle and a mental puzzle. Strategic planning becomes essential—matching certain tiles strengthens your defenses, while others unleash powerful attacks or give you access to special runic abilities tied to your character’s progression. This structure creates a satisfying feedback loop where careful tile management directly influences your survival. It’s a distinctly methodical form of combat that rewards observation and foresight more than reflexes, making each dungeon run feel like a blend of puzzle solving and incremental character growth. The dungeon-crawling portion adds a welcome layer of tension and discovery. Each descent into the underground is procedurally generated, ensuring that no two runs feel exactly alike. Some floors teem with enemies waiting to test your tile-matching discipline, while others offer narrative events, lore fragments, or choices that shape the direction of your story. The game’s presentation leans toward a dark fantasy atmosphere—dimly lit corridors, oppressive stonework, eerie magical symbols, and creatures that hint at curses and ancient catastrophes. These elements give Rune Ark a sense of moodiness that works in tandem with the puzzle system, offering stakes and context beyond simply clearing a board. Even when the core mechanics repeat, the shifting dungeons, varying objectives, and story moments help maintain a sense of progression and anticipation. Narrative segments appear between dungeon layers, presented through concise visual-novel style dialogue and character interactions. These moments flesh out the squire’s journey—his relationships with other characters, his doubts, and the growing realization of the threat beneath the kingdom. Choices made throughout the game can influence outcomes, and multiple endings give the story replay value for players who want to see how their decisions shape the fate of the realm. While the narrative never reaches sprawling RPG depth, it delivers enough emotion and intrigue to motivate continued play. Rune Ark’s writing avoids unnecessary complexity and focuses instead on creating a dark, consistent tone that complements its mechanical loop. Despite its strengths, the game has limitations that stem from its genre fusion. Because match-3 is the core mechanic, it naturally occupies most of the player’s time, and those who tire of the system may find the experience repetitive over long sessions. The procedural generation helps with variety, but the fundamental tile-matching doesn’t evolve drastically as the game progresses, relying instead on modifiers, enemy abilities, and incremental upgrades to maintain freshness. Players expecting deep character builds, intricate tactical systems, or expansive customization may find Rune Ark comparatively light. Its ambitions lie not in overwhelming complexity but in marrying puzzles with atmosphere and story, and that balance will resonate more with puzzle-inclined players than with traditional RPG purists. Visually and technically, Rune Ark is accessible and unpretentious. Its dark fantasy art style is clean, readable, and functional rather than ornate, making it easy to read the board and navigate dungeons without visual clutter. The interface is intuitive, helping players focus on strategy rather than fighting the UI. Modest system requirements make the game widely accessible, and performance remains smooth even on lower-end hardware. These choices reinforce the game’s identity as an indie project that prioritizes gameplay clarity and mood rather than graphical spectacle. In the end, Rune Ark stands out as a thoughtful, well-constructed hybrid that understands its own scale. It delivers engaging puzzle combat framed by atmospheric dungeon-crawling and a story that, while compact, gives meaning to every choice and battle. For players who enjoy match-3 mechanics but want a richer context than simple score chasing, Rune Ark offers a refreshing, narrative-driven alternative. It may not aim to compete with large-scale RPGs, but within its niche it provides a compelling, enjoyable journey through a cursed kingdom where every tile matched brings you one step closer to unraveling ancient mysteries. Rating: 7/10
Rune Ark really surprised me in a good way it’s a great mix of atmospheric MATCH 3, fun mechanics, and satisfying grind. I’ll gladly come back for more runs and can easily recommend it to anyone who enjoys characterful RPGs.
Engaging, with interesting art and satisfying exploration.
