Rubinite

This was suprisingly great. I wasn't expecting to like this game nearly as much as I did. The art style is beautiful and the bosses/animations are animated expertly. The story is surprisingly solid. The combat system is simple, but effective (mostly). There's a few bosses that expose some of the cracks of the system (Puppet Master and Alcina). The mark system took a bit to get the hang of, but it was an interesting take on the "best offense is defense" style of playing with an added risk-reward twist given taking damage causes you to lose all your marks. [spoiler]The second playthrough was also worthwhile as it strips away your healthbar, healing, and boss healthbars (although this is NOT one that I enjoy) and replaced your healing upgrades with damage upgrades to make it a glass cannon playthrough. The story changes were minimal but fun. And, the two new boss fights were solid. Although, Alcina's final phase was not...great. Far too spongey and cheap at times.[/spoiler] Some issues I had with the game were a handful of bosses feeling a bit on the cheaper side, the 2D tilt causing some wonkiness with the boss hitboxes and dodging, questionable hitboxes on several bosses and grab attacks, and the exploration in the church being a bit of a slog to get through the first time around. Regardless, I highly recommend it if you like challenging boss fights especially at this price point.

This game was awesome, combat was super satisfying and the bosses were all well designed.

第一次接觸BOSS RUSH類型的遊戲，有一種說不上來的魅力，剛開始玩覺得難度很高，但1個小時後熟悉節奏後和BOSS對刀的感覺非常爽，以我這種手殘黨一般模式通關大概10小時，戰鬥爽玩家推薦!
