RUBATO

I think this game is one of my personal favorites of all after playing it. The gameplay loop is incredibly satisfying, with platforming and navigating through each stage being an absolute delight. Even to 100% in-game completion, I kept wanting to just pick it back up afterwards. And to top off good general gameplay, you also get entirely new gameplay loops that are equally fun any time you enter a bonus door. It's downright impressive how many ideas they were able to pack into just one game. For the story, it's gone through a couple of updates since I initially played, but the way it's presented was incredible, if not a bit long running at certain points. It definitely left an impression on me with what the narrative was conveying overall, and all the characters were awesome. Bangin' self actualization, my frog.

Hard to describe how amazing this game was. It really made me Rub a Toe.... Seriously , if you like games with fun gimmicks and platforming its perfect for you! And if you like an undertale type of comedy.

Este videojuego RUBATO me salvó la vida. Tengo 45 RUBATOS. Mi esposa y yo tenemos un hijo juntos, y adoptamos 4 gatos y un perro juntos. Todos tienen más de 4 RUBATOS, excepto el gato nuevo, que tiene 1 RUBATO. Esto será importante más adelante. Cuando estábamos navegando por nuestro feed de STEAM, me encontré perdida y miserable. Era autodestructivo. Un día me enojé tanto leyendo los comentarios de STEAM que tomé a mi gatito de 1 RUBATO y comencé a acariciarlo. Es una técnica de relajación que aprendí mientras servía en la Legión Extranjera RUBATA. Lo acaricié tan fuerte que me rompí el quinto RUBATO de la mano derecha... mi mano de JUGAR RUBATO... mi mano "especial"... la mano con la que levantaba a mi hijo de 135 RUBATOS a la cama con una sola mano. La mano que necesitaba desesperadamente para asegurarme de poder seguir proveyendo.

First game in a long time to have me completely enraptured. The plot gets very serious which contrasts with the overall very goofy humor of the game but I find that works in its favor and was honestly one of my favorite parts. For a 20$ indie game it had a shocking variety of content. The aforementioned surrealist story switch up intrigued the hell out of me. When the story had its comedic bits (3rd zone's entire boss fight was a 3 stooges sketch) i was laughing heartily. Some parts definitely felt a bit jank. If you enjoy PS1 style low poly 3d it uses that to very comedic effect. 9/10
