About
Rebuild civilization in this action-adventure survival game for 1-8 players. Fight hordes of the walking dead, build settlements, restore the Roman gods... or kick back and farm with friends.
In Romestead, the dead walk at night and the gods have gone silent. Explore, gather, build, and slowly turn a camp into a working settlement.

Romestead scales in difficulty depending on how many players are in the world. Play solo or multiplayer with up to eight players. Host your own server or connect peer to peer.

Heavy resources are physical objects in the world. Gather rocks, ores, and logs, and carry them one at a time back to your town. Or make a cart train to haul them all at once. An enemy closing in? Chuck a boulder in its face.

Search the world for survivors to recruit as artisans, keep your people happy, and turn your towns into hubs for crafting, farming, and automated production. As you discover more biomes you can build more specialized settlements and even set up trade routes between them.

Make offerings and sacrifices to awaken the gods. Restore their connection to the world, earn their favor, and unlock technologies, buffs, and upgrades that will help you rebuild Rome.

The world of Romestead is procedurally generated and filled with handcrafted places and secrets. Explore unique dungeons filled with enemies and puzzles that reward you with gear, trinkets, citizens and more.

Epic bosses stand between you and a glorious empire. Gather your strength, upgrade your gear, and prepare to face them. Defeat the enemies of Rome and the gods will reward you.

It's okay I guess? I very quickly lost interest in the game after exploring more of the world because so much of it is empty or filled with the same few copy-paste dungeons/POIs. The world is big, but there's almost nothing in it The town building feels fun until you start trying to make the logistics work, which it doesn't over half of the time. Crafting becomes tedious running between 20+ separate crafting stations, the worker AI is buggy, and base defense is entirely trivial as soon as you have walls up and a couple auto turrets. Combat is hard for the first hour until you get a new weapon or spells, then it becomes unbelievably easy. I stopped feeling challenged at any point after the 60 minute mark It just felt disappointing. Maybe it gets better after the desert biome? But in 6 hours I was bored for 5 of them because it all was so simple, tedious, and extremely easy to progress
What should have been a highlight turned out to be annoying and lacked originality compared to other games in the same genre. Furthermore, the lack of crafting freedom made the game repetitive and boring. There was a limited selection of weapons and equipment, only available through changing ore grades. The attack power enhancement system was terrible; monsters were very strong, but the player's attack power was very low.
balanced only for multiplayer. tedious to the max. disrespecting your time every step. if you enjoy getting slapped every 2 minutes, this crap is for you
gostosinho a mecânica dele bem envolvente a historia
Need work still. Bugs plague the supply chain and it is not well done anyways. Monster constantly spawn in your base, like what is the reason for walls? Bosses are just bad design, they end up being some bad dodge bullets for 10 minutes as you slowly kill them.
Very Much Fun, I'm really Enjoy the game play.
