Roman Sands is a really interesting game that I am really enjoy. The game plays GREAT on Steam Deck. 60fps and uses the full screen. It has a very unique atmosphere and does a great job mixing mystery, exploration, and some pretty strange and unsettling moments. I liked how the story slowly unfolds and makes you question what is actually going on, rather than just explaining everything to you. The art style and overall presentation also really help make the game stand out and give it its own identity. It’s definitely not your typical game, but that’s part of what I am enjoying about it. If you like games with interesting stories, mystery, and a little bit of weirdness, I would definitely recommend giving Roman Sands a try.
Incredible game. The music is most often phenomenal breakcore hyperpop. But the soundtrack has incredible variety in both action packed and ambient tracks. The story of the game is where it truly shines. without spoilers, the twists in this game are very intriguing and the puzzles tie into the narrative very satisfyingly. Definitely worth an eventual re play to try and understand the layers of the game I keep thinking about.

This game is so weirdly fun and addicting, the atmosphere was beautiful and fun to look at, the gameplay was quite more fun than i expected, and the characters! they went beyond my expections! not only they look so wonderful, but i somehow enjoyed them more than i think i should! most of them are rude, creepy, weird and disgusting but for some reason it makes them likeable and gives them so much charm! i couldnt help but smile when reading their dialogue, all of them were so funny. the way they argue and speak and how unserious the game is. they really gave the game a fun and enjoyable vibe. but other than that, there is something in this game that makes me want to play more, i dont know what it is, but something in this game is just so fascinating. this has a good balance of a interesting vibe, and comedy. and did i mention the pretty anime artstyle??? just try giving this game chance!
An esoteric experience like no other, this game came to me at exactly the right time of my life. Its gameplay is simple, mundane, but purposefully so and there's just nothing quite like how this game sheds a light on what it means to sacrifice yourself for something that doesn't give a damn about you. One for fans of esoteric games, or those who have worked in the service or retail industry
Two torment nexuses in one game?! You shouldn't have!
Insane and grating and alltogether incredibly compelling.
I've been waiting for the RE:Build edition every since I played the original trough the humble trove. The wait was worth it. The original was amazing and one of my favourite narative games, and this seems a lot more polished and over the top in the best of ways.
the vibes are absolutely off the charts, and the music... oh man the music if you've ever been interested in getting yelled at by mean people and also bartending, purchase this game immediately
It's a pretty unique, creative game that really makes you want figure out what's going on under the surface. I haven't experienced anything quite like it. The art style is also quite distinct.
BENEATH THE SURFACE... MORE SURFACE. Certainly not finished with the game, not even outta Act 1 yet, but I'm dead certain this game owns. A sensory assault of delirious words and hyperpop breakbeats and evil old people. The trash pile grows ever higher on the shore. Margaritas and the Mona Lisa are one and the same. Makes me think of the recent footage of Mitch McConnel, paraded in a vegetative state. Certainly, I will write something much longer at some point. But for now, I want to yell from the rooftops: Now This Is Video Games.
