Roller Coaster Rampage is a 3D action/rollercoaster game. Unfortunately the game crashes under the latest Windows 10 editions with a "D3D" related error. If you can get the game working, it's clunky and the controls can't be remapped so you need to have a console controller or something with an "A" and "B" button. Do we look like console peasants to these "developers"? I don't think so. So what's with the console peasant childrens toy controller prompts? Because this game crashes so much, I can't recommend it.
LOL its kinda fun for half hour with some music on free mode ..is a little glitchy tho when you use the space bar multiple times it tends too derail
I just did a Let's Play of this game. Let me sum it up for you: -Awful controls (Which are defaulted so they can't be changed) -No Edit Mode -Meh Graphics -Takes a long time to load (My system is brand-spanking new) -Boring gameplay (HOW CAN YOU MAKE A GAME ABOUT ROLLER COASTERS SMASHING THINGS BORING?) Summarised: Unless you're a Let's Player who wants a game to rage about, skip it. Buy No Limits 2 instead.
I wouldn't recommend this game at first. This game would be good if it's bought on a sale (at least half price) and it's a cheap concept of No Limits and Roller Coaster Tycoon 3. Most of the times if you were going to ride the workshop coasters and then the game crashes. You'll have to use a controller in order to play this game, you build coasters with it. For I now I wouldn't recommend this but whatever I say in this review will change.
**THIS GAME DOES NOT WORK ON WINDOWS 10, DO NOT PURCHASE!!** You build a roller coaster ride while "riding" it. However, every option ends with the game crashing with the following error message Oasis Error: Unable to find path. Lovely... 0/10
I liked it its a neat game, worth it if on sale only. Couple hours worth of play
This game is really quite good. Usually roller coaster themed games are a narrowly disguised course in chartered accountancy which is not within my child's abilities, or within my definitions of pleasure. This is not, it's a rather odd arcade game, and as a result actually involves some form of pleasure. I'd like fps runaround mode for the park itself and POV for other rides, but imagine that a huge task. I'd say a casual game, but at that level, truly OK. Well done for thinking differently, devs! You should try VR, there's some theme park VR experiencess out at the moment that this would blow away.
Less of a roller coaster tycoon, more of a random, fun sort of thing.
trop basique et complique
This is not the coaster game I was looking for. I would've should've could've gotten any other title with coaster in the title.
