About
The ancients speak of a Book written since time immemorial containing all the world's legends. After many fabulous adventures, recounted in Faeria – Chronicles of Gagana, this relic was lost in a well of Faeria. Through contact with this source of magic, the Book developed a wicked free will of its own and became the Roguebook!
You are trapped in the Book of Lore of Faeria, and each page represents a new challenge. Lead your two heroes to victory in this roguelike deckbuilder developed in partnership with Richard Garfield, creator of Magic: The Gathering™. Put together the best synergies between cards, relics and abilities, and take on the Roguebook.

Great deck-building game. I've played many on PC and Mobile and this on takes a top three spot for me. Many reasons but the biggest ones are the creativity when you start(completing your first runs/unlocking more cards) and the reward for mastery when you learn the mechanics over time. Highly recommend as a game to come back to often.
Muito bom. Fera de mais cara.
It is better than that other game
It's good game. With the Discount it's worthy it.
Ok 5/10
Roguebook is a genuinely innovative and unique deckbuilding roguelike that's fun enough at its core to overcome a few serious flaws. Combat is standard roguelike deckbuilder fare, with decent balance, some interesting synergies and enemy tactics, and a cleverly innovative "swapping" mechanic, where heroes gain buffs or take damage based on whether you move them to the front or back. But Roguebook's real strength is in its map exploration mechanic. Between combats, you can spend "brushes" to find gold, consumables, relics, and more combats. This system is incredibly deep and planning out my exploration is probably the most fun activity I've done in any deckbuilder. Optimizing your path long-term often means sacrificing the ability to get stronger for the next combat, and choosing the proper order to collect rewards can help you make better decisions. My two main gripes with games in this genre is that they either fail to innovate - and leave me wondering, "why am I not just playing Slay the Spire instead" - or they "innovate" by throwing a hundred half-baked mechanics at the player, choosing quantity over quality. But Roguebook centers one easy-to-learn, hard-to-master innovation with its exploration system that make me genuinely prefer it in some ways over deckbuilders I've played extensively before. A few major flaws keep Roguebook to an 8/10, unfortunately. Firstly, the length of runs can be brutal. Roguelikes need to have a pretty strict upper time limit because the worst feeling in the world is losing to bad RNG in Act 3 and thinking "ugh, I've just spent my whole day on this stupid wasted run". For me, 40 minutes is perfect for avoiding this feeling, but Roguebook pushes the 2-2.5 hour mark. Later combats can drag, because drawing and playing animations are just *slightly* longer than they need to be, so once you've got a 30-card-per-turn synergistic deck going, you're just clicking for 2 minutes without really thinking. Secondly, achievements are kinda lame and some are bugged. I'd consider 100%ing this game if there were some more interesting challenges, but the "hardest" achievements are just "find this event 500 times", which sucks. Lastly, balance can be a little iffy, especially with meta-progression. My first win was genuinely the hardest run I played, because after it, I unlocked meta abilities like "double your gold", "start with a relic", "find 2-3 more relics on the map", and "triple your damage against the final boss". These are all fun and make runs unique, which is important too, but I think it could have been implemented much better to make the difficulty curve smoother.
this is ridiculous! the writing on the cards is SO tiny! UNREADABLE! Who are these developers? Do they expect me to play with magnifying glasses or what?
Roguebook
7.5/10
*sounds of game being broken over knee*
