About
What happens when you fuse the timeless addiction of block-stacking puzzles with the unpredictable thrill of a dungeon crawler? Enter Rogueblock, a game that transforms a familiar classic into a strategic battle for survival.
In Rogueblock, your goal remains simple: clear lines to stay alive. However, the rules of the game are constantly rewriting themselves. Every successful clear isn't just about points; it’s an opportunity. Embracing the "Roguelite" spirit, the game allows you to draft powerful artifacts and passive abilities between rounds. Will you choose an explosive modifier that blasts away misplaced blocks, or a time-slowing perk that gives you a moment to breathe?
No two runs are ever the same. As you progress, the difficulty scales with unique modifiers—frozen blocks, shifting gravity, and sudden board inversions will test your reflexes and your tactical planning. You aren't just reacting to falling pieces; you are building a "deck" of powers to counter the rising chaos.

Brilliant Concept Held Back by Missing Core Mechanics
The core concept of this game is fantastic. Combining Tetris with Roguelike elements has incredible potential, and as a Tetris League player, I know many in the competitive community would like to buy and play this. The 30 different game modes are a great touch and show a lot of ambition. However, I have currently refunded the game due to several technical "deal-breakers" and a lack of developer communication. I would gladly repurchase it if the following issues are addressed:
Technical & Mechanical Issues

Critical Exit Bug: Choosing "Terminate program" from the options screen causes the monitor to turn white and the game fails to close, forcing a manual hard close from the task manager.
Persistent Settings: The game does not save volume settings; you have to readjust them every time you launch.
Minimal Settings: Currently, you can only adjust volume (Master and Music) and toggle Fullscreen or Windowed modes.
Lack of Key Bindings: There is no way to remap controls, which is essential for accessibility and comfort.
Missing Handling: The game lacks options to adjust ARR (Auto Repeat Rate), DAS (Delayed Auto Shift), DCD, and SDF (Soft Drop Factor).
Rotation Limitations: You can only rotate clockwise (pressing 'W'). There is no counterclockwise option, which severely hinders speed and stacking.
Guideline Deviations: The game does not follow the Super Rotation System (SRS) or the Seven-Bag Randomizer. It also fails to meet several other Tetris Guidelines.
Gameplay Mechanics: There is no "Hold" function. While this could work as a specific challenge mode, it feels restrictive as a forced global mechanic.
Visuals: Block colors are in unrecognized colors, and there is currently no way to customize them for better clarity.

Final Thoughts
This game has the bones of a masterpiece, but it currently has too many bugs and errors that prevent me from continuing to play. I am writing this in the hope that the developer responds and fixes these issues. I would also love to see multiplayer added in the future.
