A good fashion shooter. Great game.
I had fun playing this game because I knew what I was getting into. It's one of those "so bad it's good" so you have to enjoy those kind of experiences if you're gonna play it but be warned, it is one mess of a release. Technical glitches everywhere, insane amount of stuttering and constant crashes that forces you to install a seperate file to fix that issue (I guess nobody on the dev team could be bothered fixing this pile of ass). The game is also very short (about 90-100 minutes) and I wouldn't recommand getting it at it's current price of 4.99. But I you like a cheesy shooter that will make you laugh and test your tolerance for horrendous gameplay, go ahead when it's on deep sale. PS: stick around for the end credit song, it is a thing of beauty.
Ta chido
the best game of all time. i was not a man until i played this game.
one of the best ever.
So bad that it's good. I got it solely due to the fact that Mickey Rourke did the voice acting for the bad ass Chuck Norris'ish (RIP CHUCK) protagonist. A trip down the memory lane tbh. Felt like a kid again, aimlessly shooting down the bad RED commies and not giving two ♥♥♥♥♥ about the story and why my guy is there in the first place. Total GOAT ♥♥♥♥. LOL
if you want to spend less than 2hours of your life i def recommend it haah
It's broken. That's all I got for you as a review. It's broken. Haven't even played it because it either lags or crashes before I can even start the first mission. Heck getting to the main menu takes 5 minutes. Guess I'll just look for an Xbox 360 copy? Yeah sure that.
In the running for The Room of video games in terms of dialogue
Honestly not that bad for $2, but this is one of the roughest "old" games out there. As in, it's easier to make games from the 90's and early 00's play like a modern game. You get to kill communists and the dialogue is kind of funny if you're lucky, but the pros kind of stop there. This is what g*y seal slop was before they all had podcasts, which is funny in its own right, but it's still stupid. The campaign also just kind of gives up and rolls credits after like 2 and half hours, it doesn't even build up to it. You can get it running easily with just a DInput8Wrapper and dgVoodoo 2, but there's a lot of annoying little things you can't fix; FOV change? Impossible. Disable mouse acceleration? Impossible. Borderless fullscreen? Impossible, because the window won't capture the mouse. You can't even alt-f4 out of the game. ALL of these things you can force in pretty much every other game out there regardless of age.
