Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.67/day in the week to Aug 5 → 8.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
From the creators of Black Mesa: When the richest CEO on Earth dies, cutthroat conglomerates seek to carve up his kingdom. Using the MERX app, rival tycoons can order private mercenary armies as easily as takeout, making them perfect soldiers for the corporate war! Only Rogue Point, an elite vigilante squad, dares to fight back.

Dive into an adrenaline-fueled campaign where explosive co-op firefights meet strategic planning. Team up, gather intel, complete objectives, and battle through dynamic missions. Earn skills and upgrade weapons to confront the 5 Star Mercenaries, lethal contractors who will test the limits of your team.

Each sprawling map is reshaped by the game's Parametric Design System, offering new strategies and challenges with every play. The constantly evolving gameplay ensures every mission feels as thrilling and unique as your first, keeping the excitement alive in every campaign.

Each MERX class has their own AI playstyle that packs a punch in their own unique way.
Not to be underestimated, the soldier is the workhorse of the MERX squads. Soldiers will utilize their environment and work with other squad units to challenge Rogue Point head-on.
Juiced up on substances and with no regard for their own life, the Berserker's singular goal is to close the distance and slice your whole team with a machete. They are agents of chaos and will wreck your carefully crafted game plan.
Heavily fortified in the far distance, snipers will pin your team down and deny you entry into important areas. Their only tell is the laser beam from their gun, and your teammate’s head exploding next to you.
Quick-footed and fast-talking, the Lookout disrupts your squad with flashbangs and relentless hit-and-run tactics.
Heavies are big, slow brutes that don’t take cover and eat bullets. You can dump all your ammo into them with no effect. Run the other way, or find their one weakness.
These legendary MERX have received the top-tier 5-star rating in the app. They should be approached with caution and treated as extremely dangerous to you and your team. Intel on these MERX is sketchy, but we know that these endgame encounters will require your team’s full strength to have a chance to take them down.

Rogue Point is easy to learn and hard to master, perfect for both fresh recruits and seasoned veterans. Crave fast-paced action? How about slow, methodical, skill-driven gameplay? Rogue Point kicks open the door to both those worlds and invites players to choose their own playstyle.

not sure if the devs ran out of funding or out of motivation, but this game just doesnt have enough content to justify a $25 price tag, it should be like $5
if you already have "ready or not" stick with that. this game is just a cheaper version of that. i thought it was going to be a fast paced co-op shooter, based off the trailers. but instead is more of a slower paced game with very little enemies to fight. now don't get me wrong thats fine and all, but i already have 'read or not' and that game does it much better. so ill say skip this one.

tl;dr "This game is super fun, I just wish they made a game and not massive unfinished demo" This game is hard to talk about, for as it stands, it's super fun but doesn't have any content. worse yet alot of content that's here is so bad I wish it wasn't in the game. Lets break this down so you know what I mean gameplay: This is hands down one of the most fun shooters I've played in a long time. The guns feel great to use, the hipfire mechanic is cool as hell and makes it skillful, it's good for single player and coop, the ai isn't perfect but good. And the best part is the progression from a "tactical shooter" in the early levels to "zombie hoard with guns" at the end Now to talk about everything else Music: there is like three tracks. i'd give all them a 4/10 "wasn't annoyed by it" story: the story is anarco capitalists/communists have teamed up (????) to do terrorism. Now there is local/state/International cops, you're a rouge agent who's going in first to kill them. This isn't a "basic overview" of the story. that's it. that's all you get. you don't get cutscenes or text blurbs. maps: there is five in total, and they all suck. what you can/can't shoot through is a horrible joke, the layouts are confusing and weird to the point it's very normal for new players to get stuck for a half hour, the end zones aren't places to bunker down and fight they are killboxes meant to kill runs, and the thing I hate the most is that npc placements range from "did you hire the people from hunt down the freeman?" to "What made you hate your player so much you would do this?" I will never forget the time a sniper spawned right about the spawn point and killed me before I could even start the mission net code: it "works" but i've never played a game where everyone wasn't lagging to hell characters: This is different from story, for I wanna complain about this in more detail. There is maybe ten voice lines in the whole game and you will hear them over and over, over. it's painful So? Is it fun? YES is it good? not really Do I think the game is going to get better? The 1.0 drop feels like "see! we pushed out the game!" and not "welcome to a new era!" so no i think the current state is roughly what the game is always going to be So if you have extra money for games I would 100% say get this, but if you need to be picky this is an easy pass
nice improvements
Don't know why this game was released 1.0. Choppy frames and clueless AI to the point where you can hide behind a fish tank, 2 feet away from the bad guy, and he'll forget you're there. No such thing as a pump action shotgun; every gun is a semi if you click fast enough. Game dookie buns, don't buy.
trash
Janky, extremely long extract timers, the body cams are worst than real body cam footage. The bad guys knowing your exact location when you extract is almost overpowered especially when 15 armored guys are running you down at the start. Save your money, go play Siege.
I have to say, I had high hopes from Crowbar Collective because of how amazing Black Mesa is. If you want a shooter, just go play that, it is truly amazing. Rogue Point though? Not so amazing. Seems like the game did not do as well has Crowbar Collective was hoping judging from their seemingly rushed 1.0 launch. Rogue Point IS fun if you play it like a run-and-gun style game. I never found myself really using gadgets outside of the ladders nor trying to stealth because the A.I is just not good enough for that. If you want a slower, more "tactical" experience, just go play "Ready or Not". The gunplay here is alright and the maps work and are interesting. The problems start with what the game is trying to be, simply, it is trying to be too much. I think Crowbar Collective would have had a much better game if they just made this either a tactical shooter or a run-and-gun fast pace one, instead we have kind of both and both sides suffer from it. For example, why stealth the whole mission when you just get into a massive gunfight at the extraction point anyway? The A.I regularly just know right where you are and will pre-fire as you turn corners. Gutting the "stealth" and just focusing all map design and perks around gunfights would probably make a better and more cohesive experience. Also the bosses, I have only fought the pig-mask guy, his whole boss fight is just a run-and-gun arena. He also sucked to fight because he just instantly burst you down with his auto-shotgun, making smoke grenade cheese very real. In summary, Crowbar Collective should have stuck to making a run-and-gun game like half-life and ignored stealth. The game needed a better identity or "vision" of what this game was meant to be, and honestly the price point really saves it. 20 bucks is not so bad, the game does not have much content, but considering the game often goes on sale for 10 bucks, its not the end of the world. I will be much more skeptical of future releases from a Crowbar Collective, shame, Black Mesa was so awesome, but this was just not.
"Classic"TerroistHunt with rogue-lite elements. Soild game!
