Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.67/day in the week to Aug 5 → 8.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
From the creators of Black Mesa: When the richest CEO on Earth dies, cutthroat conglomerates seek to carve up his kingdom. Using the MERX app, rival tycoons can order private mercenary armies as easily as takeout, making them perfect soldiers for the corporate war! Only Rogue Point, an elite vigilante squad, dares to fight back.

Dive into an adrenaline-fueled campaign where explosive co-op firefights meet strategic planning. Team up, gather intel, complete objectives, and battle through dynamic missions. Earn skills and upgrade weapons to confront the 5 Star Mercenaries, lethal contractors who will test the limits of your team.

Fight and maneuver your way through missions spread across 5 diverse locations:
The Airport
The Mall
The Office
The Oilrig
The Clinic
Each sprawling map is reshaped by the game's Parametric Design System, offering new strategies and challenges with every play. The constantly evolving gameplay ensures every mission feels as thrilling and unique as your first, keeping the excitement alive in every campaign.

Each MERX class has their own AI playstyle that packs a punch in their own unique way.
Not to be underestimated, the soldier is the workhorse of the MERX squads. Soldiers will utilize their environment and work with other squad units to challenge Rogue Point head-on.
Juiced up on substances and with no regard for their own life, the Berserker's singular goal is to close the distance and slice your whole team with a machete. They are agents of chaos and will wreck your carefully crafted game plan.
Heavily fortified in the far distance, snipers will pin your team down and deny you entry into important areas. Their only tell is the laser beam from their gun, and your teammate’s head exploding next to you.
Quick-footed and fast-talking, the Lookout disrupts your squad with flashbangs and relentless hit-and-run tactics.
Heavies are big, slow brutes that don’t take cover and eat bullets. You can dump all your ammo into them with no effect. Run the other way, or find their one weakness.
These legendary MERX have received the top-tier 5-star rating in the app. They should be approached with caution and treated as extremely dangerous to you and your team. Intel on these MERX is sketchy, but we know that these endgame encounters will require your team’s full strength to have a chance to take them down.

Rogue Point is easy to learn and hard to master, perfect for both fresh recruits and seasoned veterans. Crave fast-paced action? How about slow, methodical, skill-driven gameplay? Rogue Point kicks open the door to both those worlds and invites players to choose their own playstyle.

Reviews
Recycled shooter with quirks and bugs
To preface this review, I'd like to state that this review is based on my experience during the free beta weekend and what I've observed about the 1.0 release. Many of Rogue Point's systems and selling points sound great on paper, but overall suffers from a slight identity crisis, lack of incentive, and relatively little content. The game does some things very well, but I consider the listed issues to be great for me to commit to fully purchasing the game, even on sale. Tonally and in terms of how gameplay is presented, the game sits in the uncanny valley between an arcade-esk heist game (think of the gameplay of Payday 2 for reference) and a lite tactical shooter. This is partially me being a bit too nit-picky, but the game takes itself a little too seriously considering the campy dialogue and the corny opposition, which doesn't sit right with me considering the game markets itself on "tactical combat" through the avenue of a roguelite campaign structure. I use the phrase "lack of incentive" in two main regards. Firstly, the game fails to motivate me to complete more than a few campaigns, since besides the permanent character upgrades and attachments, there is no content to pursue. All of the playable content (specifically maps and objectives) is found in the campaigns, and the campaign modifiers are insufficient to encourage chasing greater challenges. In simple terms, I cannot foresee playing campaigns over and over and over again forever as this game's only delivery of content, even though they may feel slightly different from one to the next. Secondly, the quote-unquote "tactical options" are poorly delivered with respect to the game's map, enemy, and mechanic design. Consider the tactical equipment, such as under-door cameras, breaching charges, lockpicks, and ladders. These are all fundamentally designed to interact with the game world, its doors, and vertical elements. However, the arcade-feeling combat and world interactions trivializes these options. When doors break to three quick kicks and enemies fail to punish players that mindlessly kick down doors, there is no need to bring a battering ram or lockpick. When wedged doors can't be blown off their hinges by breaching charges, players very quickly realize they offer no tactical value since kicking is faster and unpunished. When combat is encouraged by the phone-collecting mechanic and many perks reduce the risk of constantly pursuing combat, why bring a ladder to shortcut finding the stairs and miss out on several more firefights? Despite what the game is marketed as, I find there to be very little stakes in the moment-to-moment gameplay, and I find that all my successes can be attributed to having teammates that can aim and keep themselves afloat. In short, the quote-unquote "tactical options" offer nothing in this game, which is a shame. Lastly, there isn't enough content to satisfy most players. Although the maps are vast and only segments are playable per mission, the existence of only five at the time of release simply won't satisfy most players. I very quickly got bored of the first four during my time in the free weekend. The weapon options are okay, but for a 1.0 release, I think most players would expect more. And again, I doubt that the campaign structure provides enough variety to appease people for more than a few successful runs. I've been following this game for quite some time, so I'm quite sad to be writing a negative review on it. However, I overall doubt the ability of the game to make this strange cross-over of genres work cohesively and hold people's attention, and much less do any of the individual genres any justice.

very fun game, roguelite elements are present and make each run very interesting. gunplay is fun and actually feels good to shoot from the hip. absolutely worth picking up on sale, still worth grabbing without a sale if you like FPS or roguelites. Only feedback; more maps more enemy types more customization more modes (timed vs trials?)
dead drops are goated
Nervous, tactical, coop or solo, that game itches a special nerve. Also much cooler when player without buying weapons, as required for the "scavenger" achievement.
I play the game since the launch and I really like it. It gets updates every 1-2 mounths that improve the game every time. The different ways to play missions add something nice. I never hat bugs or performance issues while playing (exept beta test ofc). I hope the game will continue to get updates.
This is just an infinitely better Payday game without the bank heist robbers and cops theme, worth buying if you liked Payday 1 and want something vaguely similar. I'll change my review if Rogue Point becomes a greedy DLC fest with weirdo crossovers and horrible changes.
Muy buenos graficos y jugabilidad
