Rogue Planet is a short action horror FPS game based on the Mayan Phenomenon of 2012. Made over the course of 3 years as my first game using GameGuru. A personal passion project.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

Rogue Planet is a short horror game about the Mayan Phenomenon of 2012. Made over the course of 3 years as my first big Steam game using GameGuru.
STORY MODE:
You are Markus Steelwyre: a soldier trapped in an endless cycle of misery in the Mayan Year of 2012. You are comatose after being seemingly shot in both arms, and the face. Yet you miraculously survive and find yourself in the events leading to that moment. The world is slowly ending, and you can't escape it. This is no dream. It's a nightmare!
If you wish to survive, you must burn the memories to the ground if the real world is to continue, since a world without consequences can't exist and be happy, right? As you continue, the horrible truths of the dream become reality. The longer you stay, the more real they become.
How can you know where you're going if you can't remember where you came from? And how far will you walk away from reality before you see where it leads? Wait where is everyone? Are you having deja vu or are you going in circles? And is she begging for you to end the world?
Only you know what you're willing to sacrifice. The clock is ticking.
Your destiny is nigh.

There's Milk
I enjoy the cactus, I hope for more from this series in the future.
Game of the year. I enjoyed the deepness of the story. Many more games should strive for the quality that this game gives off. Clearly a sequel must be made. A port to consoles would be nice too
- Default GameGuru assets (NPCs, weapons and levels) - Same repeated levels, but with different textures applied (normal, horror and cartoon) - Boring forgettable and uneventful story I highly doubt it took 3 years to produce this run-of-the-mill GameGuru game.
