About

Rogue Command is a single-player RTS that plays like the classics that defined the genre.
Control your units, build your base, harvest resources, explore the map, defend positions and come up with a plan of attack. But now with every run the rules of the battlefield change and each battle is an opportunity to discover new ways to play.
And when the action gets overwhelming, you can slow down time to 10% at any moment, allowing you to give orders with bullet-time precision.
After each battle you choose new tools for the fights ahead. Reinforcing existing strengths or pushing your build into new directions:
Blueprints add a new building to your Engineer's construction database: Unit factories, defensive turrets, healing spires or super weapons, the nuts and bolts of your army.
Upgrades modify your blueprints. Make units stronger. Or add new traits to make them part of an emerging synergy. Like adding burn damage to their attacks or letting them burst into skittering exploding spawnlings when they die.
Hacks are powerful tech-relics that modify the rules of the game. Adding a new facet to a status effect, making burning enemies flee or adding a healing effect to teleports.
Win or lose, each run you unlock new building blocks for your arsenal. Adding entries to the mysterious database of the gleefully malfunctioning Engineers across the galaxy. With hundreds of units, hacks and upgrades waiting to be built and tested in battle.
Earn archive tokens to unlock permanent improvements in the vast skill tree of the Battle Archive. Push hard into a specific trait or spread your points wide to accumulate many smaller bonuses. Or unlock ways to control the randomness. Experiment and find what suits your playstyle best.
Before each run you choose your:
Engineer: Your presence on the map. Can call down buildings and control armies. Lose your Engineer, lose the run.
Economy: Refinery and Harvester models determine the shape of your economy.
Specialist: The foundation of your build and formidable presence in combat. Each modifies the rules of the battlefield. With unique Specialist Hacks pushing their traits into odds-bending extremes.
Castle provides incredible defense and global artillery strikes.
Incinerator covers the battlefield in smart fire, burning enemies and aiding allies.
Recycler summons hordes of Robo Zombos from the remnants of your fallen units making death a resource.
Support Tank applies lifesaving buffs to your squads.
Swarm Walker infects your enemies with Spider Spawn Eggs.
Mantis feeds on its allies to gain unfathomable strength.
Rush Beacons quickly establish map presence and mobility.
Phase Walker teleports itself and its squad granting buffs and causing havoc.
The planet-devouring PCX (Planetary Core Extraction Corporation) - has spread across the galaxy. Only the occasional Engineer with a crystalline consciousness infection standing in their way.
Dozens of enemy variants fielding armies with more than 150 units and buildings of their own will keep you sweating over every decision and force you to adapt. No battlefield will be the same. And conditions can suddenly shift:
Sunstorms disable all shields on friend or foe. Thunderstorms extinguish fires. Sandstorms diminish the range of attacks. A blessing or a curse? Depends on your build and your enemy.
A first win is only the start: 15 Ascensions with unique bosses provide escalating challenges for dozens or even hundreds of hours. Your command of the battlefield grows. Your Battle Archive fills out. You discover new combinations to obliterate enemies that crushed you before. Until you are ready to face the final challenge.
And if that is not enough, you can fight your way through infinitely scaling Heat Levels until you break the game or the game breaks you.

Yup. Its a must buy for RTS fans. Its super fun well balanced overall and tons of units. I really enjoy the changing builds and new ways of tackling problems. Its pretty clever and the upgrades generally seem to be around your current build. Overall, very satisfying. Which i hardly ever say.
Playing this in short bursts, mostly just one map at a time, and having a lot of fun. Scratches that casual RTS itch very well.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

this game is a great roguelike RTS experience in the vein of command & conquer. there's only one campaign, and there's only really one type of level (mission: destroy a building), but i think that works for a roguelike. there's also only one faction to play as, but you unlock tons of units and upgrades for replay value. some upgrades are better than others (e.g., hits have a chance to stun, or damage will slow), especially on some units rather than others, but it's definitely situational and sometimes you can get some really satisfying combinations (e.g., one unit will slow them down, another gets greater critical hit chance on slow targets). that's all standard roguelike, but the developers have adapted it really well for the RTS genre. some other good: * starting with different engineer/economy/support types does help the game feel a bit like playing as a new faction. * it's super nice to be able to quit at the upgrade screen (before a level starts), or within 2 minutes of starting a level, and be able to continue a run later. * runs pretty well on my linux laptop (nothing fancy), although it does slow down a bit with lots of units engaging (e.g., later levels). nothing game breaking. some ideas for development: * i wish there was a bit of variety in the mission types (besides destroy a building), but i don't know what that would look like to keep things fair for a roguelike run. maybe at the top of the upgrade path, you can choose what the next mission type will be. in case you don't want to do an escort/infiltration/survive 10 waves while we unlock some data pods/etc. mission, you'd have to choose your path through the upgrades carefully. * would love to unlock more economy units than just the three we start out with (harvest tuner, crystal catcher, and reclaimer). getting to that upgrade screen is one of the lamest choices you have to make. * it would be nice to somehow show the 2 minute countdown you have for quitting a level without abandoning the run, with the last 10 seconds being a bit more visually obvious. some nitpicky bad, from most annoying to least annoying: * unlocking the "infinite re-rolls for the first blueprint" in the battle archives is a lie; i want to essentially see the entire unit catalog that i've unlocked (at least within the blueprint type that i choose, mech, vehicle, etc.), but the game stops you at some point. the RNG engine should be able to handle starting essentially from any unit. because there are so many units, i don't feel like i'll be able to try them all if i can't do this. * map RNG can make a level exceedingly easy or difficult. if there's only one entrance to your base to defend, you have a much easier time than if your base is completely open on 3 sides. would love to see the enemy difficulty adjusted based on this somehow. * some sound effects don't feel like they fit the weapon. in particular, the charge laser tank sounds weird with a gun reload sound, when i think it should be more like a fwoom *whine* (e.g., from a capacitor charging back up, e.g., old disposable cameras). * it's not clear, but if you don't get to the boss, it doesn't seem like you get any XP or battle archive points for a run. i would love to see an XP indicator for each level you beat, and if you don't get to the boss, i'd still love to still see certain things unlock (maybe not new engineer/economy/support types, or even new units, maybe just battle archive points). it'd be nice to have a defeat screen for this, to show what you earn for beating earlier levels. * if you have battle archive points to use (and you can use them, e.g., you haven't unlocked everything and there's something you can unlock that's worth the remaining amount of points), the battle archive button should be glowing. * some of the english translation is a bit odd/stilted sounding, but nothing that detracts. (i may join the discord at some point to help, if that's welcome.) some surprises: * beating an ascension difficulty automatically increases it. i was trying runs with new unit choices and wondering why things were so much harder. i think i'd prefer a giant glowing circle around the next ascension difficulty for the next run, to indicate that you could increase the difficulty if desired. the glowing circle would go away after a run or two.
RTS plus rogue seems to be a very interesting combo. Legit
Its a Supreme Commander roguelike need I say more?
very good game i love it
This game is a fast paced RTS with roguelite elements. After every map you can choose cards to improve your army and build up some nice combos. I just went mass zombos and spiders to win my first run and really enjoyed it!
This is the perfect bite size, replayable RTS. An entire run can be completed in around an hour. I love the roguelike nature, and the customization on the units plus all the background passives you can get going make for some insane builds. I just finished my first run where I had units that spawned melee units every time they shot enemies, then whenever a melee unit died, it instantly did a free melee attack before death to up to five units in visible range. I also could spawn these melee units whenever I healed a friendly unit, and found a building that passively healed every unit I had every 5 seconds. I filled the screen with the little melee bugs and just rolled over everything. Felt fantastic! Strong recommend for RTS enjoyers. Perfect amount of micro with excellent Macro Quality of Life.
It's one of those rogue-lites that make you feel powerful but don't let you break the game too much. You get a good variety of specialist units to determine your overarching playstyle (massing Spawns, vastly improving Flaming damage, super-turtling via Castle and more) and an ample selection of per-unit upgrades and global Hacks to compliment that. Units and buildings alike can form strong combos for delpoyment/empowerment of your combat force. Some neat interactions like Strengthened units providing more damage upon Devouring via Mantis Mech are nice to figure out and play around with. Some of the map biomes and map generation quirks are fun to use/abuse. However I feel like limiting the players to just 2 upgrades per unit is rather suffocating. Some of the upgrades that increment damage/HP feel like a time waste, since you aren't leaving combat with the units you've upgraded so much. Having crucial units/upgrades/hacks that vastly improve certain Specialists locked behind an unknown to the new player amount of levels also seems like a poor decision. This might also just be a me thing, but after unlocking Mantis Mechs I've never looked at any other Specialists, since it felt like the most progression-focused Specialist, which was what I'd been looking for in a rogue-lite RTS. Can't say that I didn't enjoy the 66 hours of gameplay that I've managed to put into it, but I can't say that they were the best RTS experience, either. Could be more interesting for someone else, though!
