About
Primordialis is a physics-based roguelike fish builder. Unleash your creativity to defeat creatures using venomous tentacles, electrical shocks, or exploding children. The possibilities are endless. Explore the primordial depths to reveal its secrets and discover what lies beyond.
================================= Create ==================================
The core of Primordialis is its simple yet deep creature creation system. Your body is constructed out of cells which each have unique properties and functions. With over 60 cell types to place and combine, there are countless creative combinations you can use to engineer your perfect fish.
You are given the freedom to play how you want, whether you want to be a massive serpent that swallows other creatures whole or to tinker with complex mechanisms and circuitry. Your only limit is your imagination.
================================= Survive =================================
In the main rogue-like mode, you embark on a difficult journey of growth and evolution. Explore the world and learn to deal with a diverse ecosystem of hand-crafted enemies, all built using the same creature creation system as you. Discover cell types, mutations and more to help you survive in this harsh and brutal world. Traverse the 5 main biomes and discover what lies at the end.
You can also play in sandbox mode if you want to perfect your creature design plans before a run, study the biology of your enemies, or just enjoy some relaxed creature building.

So over all I do quite like the game. The main problem for the lower review is balancing issues. The second area of this game is bullshitingly difficult. And this sone coming from someone who has around 1000 in Noita. The fact that there are several NORMAL enemies that are far more dangerous than the boss for the area is just dumb. Yes Im talking about the jellyfish. But even the laser guys in the second area are way too strong and hard to kill. There either needs to be more options to become more powerful by the second area, or the second area enemies need to be nerfed.
Difficult, but Amazing! Learning curve is pretty unique, if you do your own development and not look for help the difficulty not only starts hard, but exponentially difficult as you progress(very dependent on your creativity and skill with building machines). Imagine a darksouls game, but its spore the creature creator and mixed in a dash of something like scrap mechanic. That's Primordialis. do play its Freaking addictive!
Love this game with a tenth of my heart, hate it with the other nine tenths. Pros: cool builds that actually feel fun to use Cons: THAT jellyfish THAT I HATE. way too rng based for now some basic things feel much rarer than they need to be.
absolute peak fish game

It might just not be my style. Feels more like a complex circuit maker than a microscopic creature builder, but maybe that's the point given how simple life forms are kind of just little machines. I'm past the refund time, but at least my money will go towards the development of an indie game. Maybe I'll be able to get more into it someday though, it just feels difficult to have fun with at a beginner level.
Very fun game, so many cells & combinations to mess around with as well with unlimited possibilities. PLUS, there's even a sandbox mode that allows even more experimentation!
dont like the controls
very fun though a few more gameplay settings would be nice
