Another perfect example of why graphics don't make a game.. It's a decent amateur game for the price and reminds me a lot of DreamSoftGames + Fun tracks + Upgrade-able vehicle + Many tracks - Only one environment - Only one vehicle (might be a fun game to mod up though) - Controls are manageable but only after upgrading buggy in an non-practical manner* * The game starts you off with very poor grip and staring down many loop-the-loops... one after the other. To remedy this the player has to put forward elbow grease and patience; carefully collecting coins during the first five or so races which they will inevitably fail. These coins, afterwards, can be used to upgrade three features on your car. Upgrading only the chassis (for better control) until it's half way maxed is the only way to gain the grip required for the tracks to be manageable. It's cheap, clunky and amateur as but it's fun once you understand how to move it move it and, aside from the reasonable price, that's all that matters.

В принципе, за этой игрой можно скоротать время. Затягивает своей сложностью и интересностью. Для того, чтобы преодолеть мертвую петлю, вам понадобиться сцедить пару ведер своего пота с футболки. Дух соперничества присутствует - с каждым проигрышем хочется вытолкнуть за борт все большее количество соперников. Довольно приятная графика и музыка.

Remember the 90s, back when we all had a local pizza parlor with an arcade and we had to beg our parents for quarters? Rocky Ride is something you might see if we had modern arcades that didn't cost a dollar per play. Its beauty is in its art style and simplicity, and it's a game that's here to serve niche fans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3cuNe5c46E My gameplay will tell you more about whether Rocky Ride is right for you than anything I could say. It's a modern take on the old style arcade games, and either that's your cup of tea or it's not. And that's okay. You've just got WASD movement controls and a rearview mirror that you'll never use, but the braking and reverse are more responsive than in any other racer I've played. Jumps are cinematic. Loop-de-loops are fun but require momentum you sometimes won't have. Mines are satisfying to wreck your opponents. Actual control of your buggy is, if you'll forgive the pun, buggy. True to the arcade style, it's difficult to get used to how your buggy controls, and you'll go flying off the track many times. Sometimes you'll even miss a jump and respawn in mid-air only to fall to your death. It's comical, but it's also frustrating if you haven't upgraded your acceleration enough to consistently make jumps. But don't worry, the computer opponents have the same thing happen to them often enough. It's just a shame there's no multiplayer functionality. What Rocky Ride is certainly missing from the arcade style is the joy of sending a friend flying off the track or the brief moment of rage as one of you falls short on a jump. I had a great time on stream because friends were able to laugh at me as I struggled to learn the controls. If you're the type that can take Rocky Ride in good fun, invite a friend over and you'll have some good laughs taking turns with each track.

This is pretty repetitive but kind of fun, but would be so much better with controller support. Keyboard driving isnt fun.

Прикольные гоночки, погонять, отвлечься. На сложных трассах - самая веселуха! :))
